The only problem I had with comfort and ..." "These are very well made and very comfortable. The only problem I had with comfort and size was that the knee openings are too narrow. I am regular build and do not have big knees by any means but these things will squeeze the life out of your knees. It bothered me so bad that I ordered a larger size and they were just too big everywhere else. Then I ordered the POD MX300's and tried them on. The knees are also tight on them and the Large size in the POD's is the same as the medium in the TLD's. I decided to stay with the TLD's because they are more comfortable, have better straps and a much nicer knee cover. I ended up taking one of the small velcroed knee pads out of each brace and that caused them to stop putting pressure on the side of my knees. I am going to make something thinner to replace the thick pads so the hard plastic does not rub on my knees while riding."
