• Engine Ice is a great way to keep your motorcycle or ATV running cooler and performing well with a product that is not harmful to the environment.
  • Engine Ice is made from Propylene Glycol which is biodegradable and non-toxic.
  • Engine Ice is premixed with de-ionized water which eliminates all impurities for maximum performance and durability - even distilled water contains particles of metal and chemicals which cause scarring, scaling, clogging and mineral buildup.
  • Engine Ice is proven to reduce motorcycle engine operating temperature by as much as 50°: F.
  • Because of Engine Ice's non-toxic phosphate-free formula, it is safe for people and pets.

" I like running this in my 450x. I run a lot of single track. Seems to run a little cooler than normal coolant. Not sure about the 20 degrees they claim. But had to change it out after about year and a half. Not to bad. I will run this in all my race machines. "

Must-have for trackdays
" I switched to Water Wetter 2 years ago for a racing school, and when it was time to change from that, I went to Engine Ice since it doesn't require mixing, and is more eco-friendly. I didn't notice a huge difference compared to Water Wetter, but they're both far superior to the stock coolant. Much greater cooling performance, simple flush-&-fill installation, is non-toxic, and does not leave a slick residue (which is why many racetracks/organizations require this). Upgrade from your stock coolant, and you won't regret it. "

Engine Ice = Happy Engine
" I've used Engine Ice now for about 6 years. I've used it in a Yamaha YZF600R as well as a YZ125 and most recently my Honda CRF250R. In all those different riding conditions, street, dirt, sand, hot, cold, etc, engine ice has ALWAYS got my engine covered. Never had an overflow from running too hot, and I've never noticed a drop in fluid amount in my radiators. This is a great investment for you motor! "

" I ride trail. the bike has a tendency to get hot when you're slowing down in the tight stuff. I don't have a temp measurement to prove it, but the bike seems to overheat less when running this stuff... and a note to the previous reviewer.... it says on the bottle not to add water.. duh! thats the only thing that i didn't like.. buy 2 of them so you have some to add when you need it "

" very very useful in keeping colant temp down! i dont know how the chemisty works nor do i care as long as it works!!!!! i live up in Mass and it gets really cold in the winter(last week it was -14 F out) colant didnt freeze on me at all! my bike isnt kept in a heated storage and i had problems with colant freezing on me in previous winters, not any more with engine ice! it might seem a litte expensive at $23 but how much is an engine rebuild after it seezes from over heating or your radiators crack because the colant froze over winter......atleast $200 for one radiator then the time to install then on top of that you need to add more colant anyways so just do yourself a favor, drain your collant and replace it with engine ice! good stuff
" I have been using this for about 8 months now in both my bikes. I have ridden full days in 100 plus temps and have yet to overheat or even hear bubbling. I had the stock stuff in my bikes before and would consistently hear bubbling or even have steam flowing out of my bike. Well worth it. "

Best Antifreeze Available
" I have been running Engine Ice in all of my bikes for a few racing seasons now. No matter how hard you ride your bike, if you run this stuff, your coolant level will only drop a tiny bit. In the middle of summer when it is extremely hot, I'll be out doing hillclimbs all day practicing for the next round that's coming up. At the end of the day, my coolant level will only be slightly down and I'll just pour a little in. This stuff is the best coolant I have ever run and definitely lets your bike run cooler. I would highly recommend it whether you race, or you just ride for fun. "

Does it freeze?
Asked by 00cr125
its a little of both. it is colant and disapates the heat better than other colants which keeps your engine running temp down but my bike isnt in a heated storage or anything and it was -14 F out last week and this colant didnt freeze on me at all. i keep it in year round!
Answered by livinloud22, Southampton, MA
It is anitfreeze and I have had good luck with it at 0F but I have heard of other people who had it freeze at 4F.
Answered by CharlieE
It does not freeze, it has a freezing point of -something crazy in Fahrenheit.

flushing
Asked by badkitty400, mercer pa
no it wont
Answered by keify, keify
As long as the water is de-ionized it will not affect the Engine Ice. If it is regular tap water, I'd remove everything you can and flush with de-ionized water. I think the back of the label states this.
