The Pro Taper EVO handlebar utilizes a computer-profiled 4 mm wall design that makes it lighter than the competition while boasting a more sensitive feel. In addition, the EVO is made from a unique blend of proven proprietary alloys and is the official bar of the Geico Honda Race Team.

  • Made with aerospace-grade 2050 aluminum.
  • Manufactured to exact rise and pullback specifications and tolerances to provide a consistent and accurate feel.
  • Independent lab tests show that the EVO handlebars outlast every other handlebar on the market in fatigue life.
  • 4 mm computer-profiled wall design.
  • Unique inner tube coating to resist corrosion.
  • 1/4" cut guides for precise modification.
  • Left side knurling provides maximum grip traction.
  • Chemically applied "un-sticker graphics" are scratch and peel-resistant.
  • End plugs help keep the elements out of the handlebar tubing and aid in longer grip life.
  • EVO has the best balance between fatigue life, impact strength and impact-absorbing flex.
  • Notes: Requires the use of oversized 1-1/8" handlebar clamps. Bar pad sold separately.

Great Bars
Love these bars... Replaced the Renthal bars on my KX450 to help with some flex, not as stiff as the Renthal bars. I had Pro Taper on my other bike YZ450 and loved the bars, so when I bought the KX I thought I would keep the Renthal bars on them. I ride MX/Hare Scrambles and felt the Renthals were just too stiff for my comfort. FYI I had many crashes on my YZ and the bars never bent, cant go wrong with these bars.

Nice Bars for the Price
I like the open feel of the relatively straight KTM bend, and these bars feel solid, and lightweight. I haven't dropped the bike yet, so I'm not totally sure about durability, but what bars don't bend when you abuse them?

Rock Solid
I love these bars. I have been using the Reed/Henry bend since they were just the Henry bend. I feel these are a little more rigind than the Contours, which I also prefer.

Great Fit and Finish
These bars are very well made. Pro Taper bars in general are hard to go wrong with. It has the adjustment marks near the mounts that are really easy to use. The texture on the ends really make it easy to lock on the grips. Overall the most satisfying pair of bars i have ever bought.

Which one goes best with raptor 250 or yfz450?
MotoSport Staff
1 month 3 days ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
There is not one that necessarily goes best for a specific bike. It is more of a personal preference on what you would like to change about the stock bar bend or if you would even just like to keep it stock and replace the bars. Any bend would technically fit on the YFZ450 as it has oversize bars stock. The Raptor 250s will require a 7/8th to 1 1/8th bar adapter to utilize these. Also i would look at the Pro Taper Contour handlebar as it will give you a larger selection of choices as far as the different bends go. Please contact us if you have more questions on the specific bends and how they would compare to stock.

What bars are best for quads and what is the best riser clamp for 2in. of rise?

Here is one idea If you now have a low bend handlebars and wish to increase the height consider changing to a high bend handlebars. My CR85R has a high bend while my RMZ250 has a low bend. Go to your local dealer and take a good look and evaluate before you buy.

What size will fit a 2008 kx 100?

If your bike does not have 1 1/8 bars then you would have to buy some oversize mounts. Other then that the bend is up to. Go to their website and find the bend you want, then come back to MotoSport to buy it and save yourself some green!

Your stock bars are a 7/8th bar I believe so no these will not work unless you buy oversized bar mounts.
28 days ago Location: Colorado Springs, CO
No you will need to get fat bar clamps, the factory ones are 7/8th bars.
