This is a good product if you own a 2004 cr250. The air box seal to the air filter is very poor. This product fills the ugly gap that can let dirt in, and is much cheaper and easier than converting your airbox to an earlier model.

Should make filter changes easier
I trust this will stay pliable for some time as I can see how this makes filter changes even faster and easier...no grease. the backing is very sticky so make sure you position correctly before getting too close to the airbox.

I've used these the last 5 bikes I've owned and never had a problem getting a good air filter seal. No more grease and its easy to clean the air box...

Great product
works as it should makes things a lot cleaner without having to grease the rim. Only disadvantage is that you cannot clean out the air box with brake or contact cleaners as it will break down the foam. They do wear out though and you will know because your air filters will start getting black tacky residue around the rim that will continue to get more tacky. But for the price and how well it works this is a great product

Great idea, poor perfromance
The product is a great idea, but on my 09 KTM 300XC, it didn't work out. The seal was to large in diameter to fit over the air filter seat properly.

Air filter cleaning one step easier
No mess cleaning the grease off the rim and greasing when putting on air filter. just make sure you put it on right the first time. try fitting a couple times without taking off the back. Equivalent protection, if not better in my opinion.

So how exactly does this work?
i know the question seems stupid, but honestly... u just stick this seal in the airbox around the intake and screw the aifilter on like normal with no sticky stuff? hard to belive, but if thats the case ill try it

This is a soft rubber seal that is installed around the lip where the filter seals against the air box. This is used instead of grease.

Not everyone, but close. this is a great idea and saves a lot of time and mess of having to greasing your filters to make sure it has a good seal around the intake rim. with this installed due to the adhesives that are used it is not affected by gas and oils, so the Pro-Seal will not separate from the air box once installed.

Will it work with my k&n filter?
my ruber seal on my air box is falling apart. its where the filter rim meets the air box. the seal came with the filter.

this will fit your stock OEM airbox. if you had to modify the airbox to accommodate the K&N air filter than you should be fine.
