Works great. Easy install. However, on my son's CRF150R I had to wrap the wire around the cap itself and not the wire. There is a small groove to run the wire around.

recommended. hour meter with tach is good for tuning. This one has the lead removable, which i think is a plus and allows routing the lead from the top or bottom. Priced best too.

Fun hour meter!
It does its job as an hour meter very well. Installation is very easy. The Tachometer is slow to display numbers and only goes up to 9000 so its more for fun.

MOOSE HOUR METER W/TACHOMETER
I currently have three of these in operation and use the hour meter to guage when to rebuild the top ends in 2strokes. They have all held up well to the abuse of MX racing week after week and pressure washing between motos and at the end of the races. One has over 40hrs, while the other two have 18 & 21 hrs - so far no problems or issues with this product. Easy and quick to install as well.

I thought it would be harder to install than it was. I wanted to just use the double sided tape to mount it, but was afraid to as the screw holes stuck up farther than the rest of the back and I was afraid it wouldn't stick good enough. It works great as advertised. It would be nice if you could see the hour meter when it was running, though. The tach feature is cool. I suppose it would cost more money if you could switch between tach and hour meter display when it was running, but it would be nice... I'm satisfied with the product as is and would buy it again and recommend it to my friends. I've only put 1 1/2 hours on it, so I can't speak to it's durability...
