Fox Racing 2018 Women's Comp 5 Boots Fox Racing 2018 Women's Comp 5 Boots 2smoker137 - PA Good Starter Boot - Not for Trails "Found these boots to be good for beginners that are just getting into riding (with low riding hours) but would not recommend to those who ride trails as they're not durable enough for the woods and enduros. They're extremely comfortable but didn't hold up long enough (about 1.5 years). Definiely not enough ankle support, which is disappointing. Basically, these boots are true MX boots but would not recommend for the woods as they don't have nearly enough protection. I would really like to see a women's specific boot for trails riding that are durable, are truly waterproof, contain a steel toe, and are NOT pink. When will manufacturers realize not all women like to rock the color pink??? I ride with a lot of guys and notice their selection in boots is much more accommodating and safer. I've been struggling to find a pair that are just as nice for women."

Alpinestars 2017 Tech-7 Boots Alpinestars 2017 Tech-7 Boots motoxer913 - Ogden, UT Best Buckles on the market "I've purchased a ton of boots over the last few years due to 3 growing kids who all ride. I've tried many brands and I've come to the conclusion that the Tech7 is the ultimate boot. It has by far the best buckles on the market which is a huge deal. My daughter has a pair of Fox Comp5 boots that I can't stand due to the simple fact that she cannot buckle them herself, and I even struggle to help her snap them into place. If the Fox boots had a buckle as good as the Tech7 I would rave about them, but they do not. The Tech7 is the perfect balance of price, performance, style, and functionality. Buy them you'll love them."

Get on Your Fox Boots

Fox Racing started in 1974 as a tiny distribution business for European motocross parts and accessories. By 1976, the company added high-performance suspension and engine components. Founder Geoff Fox decided to show his company meant business and in 1977 he created Team Moto-X Fox, a privately owned professional motocross team.

The non-factory Fox racing team competed well in the AMA 125cc National Championship Series and proved it could compete against the strong Japanese factory teams. Perhaps just as important to the Fox name, the team's riders made a splash by wearing bright red, yellow and orange race outfits handmade by Fox. The clothing became an instant hit with fans and the phones began ringing at the Fox shop in Campbell, CA with folks interested in buying Fox gear and race wear.
