Comfort 4/5 Durability 4/5 Performance 4/5 Sizing - true to size? 2/5 Style 4/5
Top strap is too short

The bottom strap to go around my calf is just about right.
The upper strap, which is shorter than the lower strap, is not long enough to go around my thigh comfortably.
I like them enough that I'm considering having them altered to fit better.

Super comfortable!

Not for me...

If you have skinny legs these would work good, but the top strap is way too short for me. It seems unusually short.

Good Buy

I was hoping that it would fit with my axo boots, and they fit quite well. Pretty comfy, no pinching. Great protection. They look durable, haven't wrecked in them yet so we will see how they last. Overall I am very happy with them.

Not great but not Bad!

Here's my take on this product....
These guards are super comfy! light weight, only two straps, stay in place and fit inside my riding gear very well. On the down side, the protection could be described as minimal and limited to minor bumps and hits. For me the SC05 guards have worked out pretty well for my type of riding which is mainly trail. What they lack in protection is made up for in comfort.

Just in Time

2nd race with the knee pads on my son hit the bike in front and cart wheeled 4 times before coming too rest. His knee hit the bike in front at initial impact. The knee was sore for a day or so but no damage. They are worth every penny. Also, recommend high sock or long shorts to prevent skin irritation.

Good purchase

i like these knee pads pretty good,im a big guy and they fit good only grip is the straps rubbed the back of my legs a little bit

Best Knee Pads Ever

I have a problem of hittng my knees on the handlebars when i whip or scrub, so i decided to buy these and i love them! i never ride with out them anymore, but i recommend getting a knee sock cuz the straps can rub.

Can't beat these for the money!

These things are great! I had a set of EVS Visions and they were just too bulky. Made me feel like I had a bucket between my legs. Anyhow, these things obviously only offer impact protection, but that is all I need. Great fit, no slip. Very satisfied

i like these knee pads a lot. they are very unresticting and still offer great protection. the only downfall is they rub your leg weird at the top bc of the grip to hold them up. its something to get used to or put something under that part to stop it.

Haven't wore them yet

i haven't wore these yet but right when i got them i tried them on, and they felt kind of big w/ the big black knee plastic piece it seems like it is going to make that pants fit tighter when i have my race pants on, but i will post another review after riding w/ them on

Knee guard

Great fit, cannot tell I am wearing these knee guards.

Decent product

These EVS knee guards are a very nice product especially for the price. I was a little disappointed with a few things though. One is that the lower shin guard that is wrapped in neopreme is very small and flimsy, I am still using them but hope that they will still protect against a hit to the shin. Second is the upper straps that go around the thigh area are very uncomfortable, they seem to be scratchy and tend to chaff my legs. Some good things are the overall length, which is good for downhill mtn. biking as well. I like the knee cup it is comfortable and very protective

Very comfortable

Worth buying

they are the most protective and most comfortable knee gaurds ive ever owned and they stay in place

Comfort and Quality!

Fit, form and function is what I was looking for and that is precisely
what I got from these knee guards. Fact is, they're comfortable
and the construction and quality are excellent!

Q: Sizing Chart Question?
This relates to the In Stock question Do you have XSS, XS , S and XL ? The sizing chart states there are other sizes then just Large and Medium. Can you please check on this again? If this is discrepancy its very misleading.

A: Since EVS knee guards are all sized pretty much the same way, we use the same generic sizing chart for all the guards. The SC05 knee guards only came in a youth size and then MD or LG. XXS, XS, SM, XL are not available.

A: we will be getting more of the adult medium and larges once they are available. EVS does not offer a adult small in the SC05
