EVS Glider Lite Elbow Guards

These guards were very comfortable at first, but after about 30min of riding, the guards started to slide down my arm a little. I ended up having to adjust them about every 10min.

These elbow guards appealed to me because I wanted something fairly inexpensive, comfortable, easy to put on, and protective enough to save me from elbow rash might I tip over while riding. When I wore them for the first time out at the track, they seemed to be exactly what I had been looking for. I forgot they were on just about as soon as I left the pits. Fast foward about an hour or two into ripping up the track, I began feeling them slowly slide down my arms on the landing of jumps and whooped-out sandy straights, so I slowed down in a corner and slid it back up with the other hand, no biggie. Given another hour, these things might as well of been made of wet soap. Just going through one section of jumps and my EVS elbow guards doubled as wrist protection, but that wasn't exactly what I was in need of. Every lap I was pulling off the track to get them back up my jersey sleve, until I finally got annoyed to the point that I pulled back to the pits, ripped them off, threw them at my truck, and continued riding the rest of the day without them. Granted, I'm a small guy. At 135lbs, I tend to wear small to medium gear, depending upon what I'm getting. I ordered a small in these to be on the safe side, but apparently EVS needs to offer an XS, because once they get a little wet with sweat, or have been on long enough to stretch out a bit, they become completely useless. I've even tried shrinking them with no luck. So, if you're in the hunt for a pair of elbow guards, I HIGHLY recommend you avoid buying these. I'd love them if they worked, but they simply don't. Definitely lacking the quality I'd expect from EVS.

These are very comfortable elbow guards, but they tend to slip down your arms after landing a jump. Additionally, they are a little soft as far as the rubber protection. The pro on these guards is that they are far more comfortaable than any others I have tried. Cons - slip down arm, impact protection was a little soft.
