To help prevent misting of the shield and internal sun visor, install the breath guard that's included in the accessory pack in your helmet box. Start by opening the shield. Next, simply press the breath guard down between the helmet shell and the mask liner.

The Neotec is equipped with a removable chin curtain, which is designed to help reduce wind noise and keep the rider's face warmer during cold-weather riding. To remove the chin curtain, lift the flap that covers the front edge, then pull the chin curtain up and away from the helmet.

The pins you see here secure the chin curtain to the helmet. To reinstall, slide the chin curtain's leading edge under the flap, then slide the chin curtain flap over the pins. Give the chin curtain a gentle tug to ensure proper installation.

The pinlock system system included with your new Neotec is the most advanced anti-fog system available today. To install the pinlock sheet, first open the shield, then pull the levers on the base plate, and lift the shield away from the helmet. Repeat the same procedure on the other side.

Before installing the pinlock sheet, remove the protective film from the sheet. Install the pinlock sheet with the silicone bead facing the shield. Slide the pinlock sheet detent over the pin. Next, gently spread the shield to flatten it, and insert the opposite side. When you release the shield, the bead of silicon will seal against the shield of the helmet.

To reinstall the shield, insert the shield tabs into the grooves on the base plate, and press the shield toward the helmet. Repeat the same procedure on the opposite side, and then open and close the shield to ensure proper installation and smooth function.

To clean or replace the internal sun visor, start by lowering the visor and opening the face cover. Lift the tab that secures the sun visor to the mounting pin, and remove the visor from the tab. Repeat the same procedure on the opposite side to fully remove the sun visor from the helmet.

To reinstall the sun visor, start with the visor lever in the visor down position. Slide the visor into the tabs on both sides at an angle as shown. Rotate the visor up into the helmet, carefully guiding it to avoid scratching it against the helmet shell. This will secure the visor into the tabs and lock it in place.

To remove the helmet interior for cleaning, start by unsnapping the cheek pads and pull them from the helmet, front to back. Remove the center pad by unsnapping it from the rear first, then unsnap the front, and remove it from the helmet. You can remove the ear pads to install a communication system by simply tugging on them gently.

To reinstall the center pad, slide the front snap tab under the small ridge on the front of the helmet. Next, click the center pad in place on the bosses, and then give the pad a gentle tug to ensure proper installation. Reinstall the cheek pads by sliding the plastic strips into the tabs at the rear of the helmet. Secure the front of the cheek pad in the same manner. Finally, click the cheek pad snaps into place, starting with the rear snap first.
