Alpinestars Tech 3 All Terrain Boots Alpinestars Tech 3 All Terrain Boots McMaster52 - Lexington SC Good Boots "I have a size 14 foot and I usually get size 14 shoes and all but these boots I probably could have gone with a 13. It's not bad the extra room in the boots but they are so large some times it's hard to mover your foot around the pegs to shift. Also the most recent time I fell the side where the middle 2 buckels hook up poped out on one end and came undone, but was easily fixed with a screw driver. Other than that I think there great and are for a decent price."

Alpinestars 2016 Fluid Pro Knee Braces Alpinestars 2016 Fluid Pro Knee Braces mattb - pdx Good braces "Bought these to replace an older Asterisk cell set. They are lighter and narrower than the asterisk. The Alpinestars are much more customizable than the asterisk. From the rep, the carbon is the set to go with for people with previous surgery. Having blown out a knee before I wanted something to support but not be as bulky as the Asterisk were. I didnt want the full blown carbon and these seemed like a great option and great price point! Reading the previous review, I would always suggest to use a full length knee brace sock. The sleeves never work and cause any brace to slide around. These will take a while to fit to you. They have optional shims, different length pieces and inserts for stop adjustments. The first ride out, one side dug into the side of my knee where it was not comfortable. Came back in and swapped out a few piece and the discomfort was gone! They stayed put with the full length knee brace socks and were more comfortable than the older Asterisks. Also they are much less bulky. bottom line, these do take some time to adjust to you. Once you take the time to adjust/swap and tune them, they work great!"

Alpinestars - Legendary Innovation

Alpinestars' roots in motocross and motorcycling span six decades. Founded in 1963 by Sante Mazzarolo in Asolo, Italy, Alpinestars first made hiking and ski boots but a short two years later the company introduced its first motorcycle boot - it included an innovative steel shin protector and a buckle closure system rather than laces.

A decade later, Alpinestars marketed protective boots featuring toe sliders and enhanced levels of protection for the motorcycle road racing circuit giving the company a loyal following. In the 1990s, Alpinestars rolled out additional protective gear including gloves, jackets and full leather suits.

In 2011, Alpinestars unveiled perhaps the most innovative line of protection ever seen by the motorcycle world. Popular Science magazine gave the company a "Best of What's New" award for the Tech Air Race Suit. Available to the public, the Tech Air Race Suit is a state-of-the-art fully functional airbag system. The technology Alpinestars created monitors the rider's movements and determines when a crash is imminent and deploys airbags along the shoulders and collarbone in milliseconds.
