DHH headlight
this product is not what is in the picture. it is the same light with a single headlight in the middle, not 2 little ones as pictured. the light is good quality plastic but the lights are underpowered and it comes with no cords or plugs and no instructions. and the sticker is already applied so if you want it black you have to peel it off. i would suggest getting something else, unless you are very crafty. i was very unhappy and sent it back immediately and didnt find something on this sight for what i need.

VERY NICE.... BUT:
Very nice add to your bike, excellent product from acerbis like always.. BUT.. if you are installing it on a MX bike be aware you will need to spend 300 more on a more powerful stator and a cable harness. This light only comes as "the light itself" to be attached to your bike, but does not include cables to connect it to your bike. Other than this gave a great look to my CRF!

Not worth it.
I bought this light for my drz400sm and while its much lighter it doesn't have nearly enough brightness. Even though the stock light leaves much to be desired these is not even close to a 1/3 the performance/output. It was actually very dangerous to use after dusk. The optics of the lense are very poorly designed, it throws light out in many ways and much of it reflects back into your eyes. There was also no way to adjust the height of the beam so it was all ways to low. The straps are too small to fit around the fork legs of my bike. It won't fit the wire harness of the drzsm very well either. Reliability is very poor also as the low beam element failed after 3 hours of normal street riding. This is my second headlight I've owned from acerbis, I also owned the non dot ddh ( 2 halogen bulbs) and will be the last. The shroud does however like very nice with a thin stylish design.

Great Light
I was very impressed the the brightness of this light. Easy to install on my KTM and stays in place. Great light for the money.

Great Fit
The headlight fits great without any modifications, and has nice styling. The Light itself is nice and bright, but personally, I wish it was a little brighter. The color is almost an exact match, but it is very close.

Will this fit on my kx250f 2012?

This is a universal headlight and you would be able to mount it on your 2012 KX250f. Keep in mind, this not a direct bolt-on though. You will need get a lighting stator and wire your bike correctly to operate a headlight, or obtain a complete kit designed specifically for your bike.

I have a 2013 crf230f electric start, and was wondering will this product work with it and if it comes with all the mounting hardware wires and switch?

You would be able to fit it to your 2013 CRF230f. It will not include wiring and switch but will include the mounting bands. You will have to wire it to your stock harness.

Does the 2007 Honda CRF 150F put out enough power for this light to operate properly?
MotoSport Staff
2 years 11 months ago Location: Tualatin
No the CRF150F does not have a lighting coil on it and would not be able to run this. Try contacting Ricky Stator at 866.6341.3837 to see if your stator can be rewound to be able to use a headlight.

Will it work on a 09 CRF 150F?
MotoSport Staff Expert

The light assembly would fit, but the bikes engine doesn't produce enough electricity to power the light. You will need to purchase an high output stator. contact you local dealership to inquire what it would take to install this special stator.

I broke the lens with a rock can I get a replacement lens?

We do not stock replacement parts for these headlights. I believe the only part that acerbis sells for replacement parts are the mounting straps, wiring kits, and bulbs.

Will this product fit an Xr200? if so what will be needed in order for me to install it?
MotoSport Staff Expert
Over 3 years ago Location: USA
If your XR has a headlight on it already, than this will work. If you bike does not have a headlight, you will need to look into how you will power the light. A high output stator is needed if you want to run any axillary items.

HOW...?
Will this fit my 2006 CRF80f? how is this powered. is it battery powered or does it hook up to the bikes battery?
MotoSport Staff
Over 3 years ago Location: P+RTLAND
For bikes that have a battery, yes you can hook it up that. For those that dont you will need to get a high output stator in order to run it.

What is a high output stator?
Expert MotoSport Staff
Over 3 years ago Location: USA
A stator is like an alternator in a car, it's responsibility is to provide power to the spark plug and what ever else needs electricity. A typical motocross bike stator only produces enough power to keep th spark going to the spark plug and a few other electronics. But it's not designed to power any auxiliary items, such as a headlight. So in order to power the bike and power any additional electronics you'll have to purchase a new stator that produces more electricity, or what is referred to as a high output stator.

Possible upgrade 2003 DR-Z400S?
Acerbis comes thru with the color head I want...yellow. Would the OEM headlight (lens/reflector), that is not exactly rectangular, (tapered at bottom) fit this plastic housing? Is the Acerbis supplied headlight similar or identical to the OEM headlight? I'm converting to true HID 5000K at nearly half the power consumption, but triple the lumen (light) output and half the temperature. I'll let you know how it goes... k

I don't believe the stock/OEM components will accommodate the Acerbis head light housing. This headlight will be comparable to the OEM though, but it's not going to be a HID.
