WISECO PRO-LITE 4-STROKE PISTON - STOCK BORE
" overall this is a great kit, the only issue i had was the lower oil seals would not seat, i actually ruined them trying to get them in, they did not need to be ground for proper fitment, just did not want to seat in the piston, i had to spend an additional fifty dollars on new ones but next time ill know to take a little more time seating them. other than that everything in the kit was flawless "

compression ratio?
is this a 13.5-1 ratio?
Asked by hondafive4
it will be stock compression for whatever bike you are purchasing it for. If you want a hi compression Wiseco pistyon, give us a call and we can special order it for you.
Answered by JesseC, Tualatin
if you have a stock regular crank and nothing changed would this work without changing the crankshaft
Asked by dyan
Yes, this piston is designed to work with your stock crank set up.
Answered by Drewski, P+RTLAND
do i have to do anything to my cylinder or can i just put in the new piston myself?
Asked by cosmickites
please reference your service manual for specific installation instructions.
Answered by james718, Portland, OR
Is this piston the exact same as the stock pisto?
Asked by yamahafreak68, Cadillac, MI
No, it will be the same bore. Weiscos are better than OEM and use their own rings. Be sure and set the ring Gap. There are instructions in the kit for how to set the gap. A bearing wrist pin and circlips will insure a good install. Do not re-use gaskets. They make look fine but for a few bucks be sure!!

it will give it a slight increase of overall power
Answered by 98BANSHEE, HENDERSON
Right Piston
Asked by Digiler
A) If your bike is listed under the "fits these bikes" than it will work. B) If your bike has stock bore than this piston will fit.
Answered by james718, USA
will this work with the athena factory kit for my 1999 yz 125 if so is athena piston better?
Asked by yz125rider194
Yes it will work. They are about the same, the wiseco piston may be a little better
Answered by maxmoney11
am i able to buy OEM gaskets that will fit this piston?
Asked by 2005kx250f, high Ridge MO
the gaskets wont change unless you go over bore. so if your going with a stock bore piston then stock gaskets will work!
