Great addition for trail riders.
" The trails I ride are very dusty(old coal mining place). I had to clean the twin air filter every time I went riding to keep good air flow. The dust cover still needs to be cleaned every ride but, it is so much easier to clean and oil then the filter. I can get about 3-5 (usually 5) rides without having to clean the air filter, sometimes more. Use twin air air filter and dust cover with no toil oil and cleaner. "

" Great product. Slides over filter. Same concept as filter skins but alot easier to put on. Throw it on for dusty days & pull it off for a clean filter. Alot quicker & easier to clean & oil than a whole filter. The only negative is that it doesn't fit around the rim of the filter as well as a filter skin but it does a good job of keeping 90% of the filter clean. "

" If you ride in dusty conditions, this thing is a good value. I have tried filter skins and they are okay, but this dust cover catches way more dirt. I can now go two races before I clean my air filter. You clean and oil it just like your air filter. It fits over the air filter under the gromett or screw whichever your machine has. YZ 250. No Toil air filter oil. "

These are designed to fit Twin Air Filters only. The profile of the K&N filter is lower than any stock or after market foam filter.

Sure, this could be washed and re-used. Keep in mind though, this is made of coarse foam and smaller particles will lodge themselves in the pre-filter and may be need to be cleaned carefully, or you'll risk the chance of tearing the foam.
