Great Product

Numbers on the screw nob allow for easy visual checks of where you are at as far as mixture and when adjustments need made it's as easy as a turn of the screw.

Makes setting idle mixture easy.

Now I don't have to keep that tiny screwdriver with me anymore! This makes adjusting the idle mixture so much easier. If you go for long woods rides this is a must. I can climb the Sierra now and adjust my mixture without laying on my back in the dirt, and having to guess how much I turned the screw.
Make SURE you pull out the old "O" ring from the old needle. It will stick WAY up in the carb. A tiny piece of wire with a little hook at the end can grab it. If you don't get it out it will hold the screw out too far and idle very rich even with the screw all the way in.

Easy to to install

It is definately worth getting this mixture screw rather than the specialized screw driver. Easy to to hand adjust, easy to install, and useful, especially when you go to a place where the air changes and you need to adjust the air/fuel mixture of the carberuator.

Fuel screw

gives your bike some bling, but i wasnt happy with the way it fit in the carb. it was a little loose and can easily vibrate out,so i just wrapped the threads with a little loctite tape to keep it tite.

Disagree with negative reviews

If you properly jetted your carb, you will only have about 2- 2 1/2 turns out on your fuel screw and will NOT have to worry about the fuel screw turning out. If you don't have the right size pilot screw in, you'll be more so at 5 or more turns out which will allow this fuel screw to turn itself out. It's all about the proper tuning

Don't waste your money

I have an R&D adjuster on the TRX now. This lasted 3 rides, actually longer than I thought it would. When I threaded it into my FCR it felt very loose. I teflon taped the lower threads to try and prevent it from falling out. No such luck... so put your money towards the R&D flex jet.

Great product!

A few of my friends have these exact fuel screws...and my YZ250F was constantly popping on deceleration. My friends recommended I get one these and I did. I have been using it in the bike 3 years now and no problems. When the bike seems like it is popping a lot, I adjust the screw. The product does the job well, it makes adjusting my fuel/air screw easy.

Rider beware

These types of mixture screws WILL work themselves loose. Thought i sucked dirt so did a carb clean. reinstslled and ten mins on the track it started runnin like garbage again. The screw had actually come out and was on top of case under clutch cable. Buy the flex jet one that has flex line a bolts to float bowl. Wont ever work loose and easier to adjust.

Q: Can I get just the o-rings and spring for this thing or for the original one?

And if I can only get the OE spring and o-rings do you suppose they will fit decently on this Mixture Screw?

A: You can use the original o-rings and spring that were on your old needle, or you can buy the o-rings and spring from the OEM section, they are identical. It may end up being faster and cheaper to buy another complete needle.
(Also, some manufactures don't sell the parts separate from the needle)

A: Yes it does, but make SURE that you get the old o ring out first, otherwise, the needle wont be able to lean out enough. A thin piece of mechanics wire with a hook at the end is your best bet to remove the old o ring.
