Poor quality

Lever snapped off on the first ride. Dropped the bike in a turn and the lever snapped off at the perch.

Worst lever ever

At first glance, this looked like a nice product. The lever didn't last one ride out on the track. Dropped the bike in a slow turn in the mud and the lever snapped off at the perch. Can not replace with the stock lever either. The stock lever is too thick to install in this perch. It's junk. Will never buy again.

Did not fit its description

Attempted to install this on my pro taper bars for my 08 zuki rmz250, didnt fit even throughout extensive modification. would only recommend this for completely stock bikes needing a spare lever.

Only bad thing about this product is the dust flap, ripped on my first ride.

Good clutch

i like the feel of the clutch and perch, easy change up while in the air. installation is kind of a pain as the plastic piece is pretty hard and doesnt mold much while trying to place the cable through but otherwise i love the look

Not the best...

Lever and perch do their job but there isn't anything to keep dirt from getting in the clutch cable! Kinda sucks! You'll have dirt grinding in your clutch cable in no time! And the lever bends easily...

Don't do it

Great perch and lever, but they don't sell a replacement lever ANYWHERE, not even Sunline! Break the lever, start over with a whole new perch assembly.

Looks great, functions well.

It doesnt include a unbreakable lever but it works well for adjustments on the fly. Its been on my bike for 6 months or so now and I still am very pleased with it.

Great value clutch perch

Purchased a few months ago for my RM 250 and fit great on my Protaper 7/8" bars. The black finish on the lever is holding up well, the shorter 3 finger design lever is comfortable, and the AOF adjuster works well. The set screw to adjust lever reach has backed out and interfered with the AOF but some blue threadlock fixed that. I run Barkbuster wraps so the lever is more protected but even with many falls in the woods the lever has not broken. During hare scramble races the lever feels really nice and covering with 2 fingers it pulls easy.

Great lever and perch for the money, buy it if you are looking for a good value.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

Does the job, barely. If you drop your bike forget about it. It bends easily. JUNK

Dont buy

as soon as i got this lever it was really nice and it looked good and then after a little bit the paint started warring off and when i went to the last hare scramble some one hit me and the lever completely snaped off

Q: Does this perch and lever assembly help with easing the pull at all?
1 year 4 months ago
I am looking to get a little bit easier pull from a clutch lever and am wondering if this one will do it, or what one is suggested.

A: Not necessarily but it would depend on your current perch and lever. If it is bent and/or dirty this Sunline assembly may work a lot better for you. Usually though if the pull starts getting stiff the first place to start is to lube or replace your clutch cable. Feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

Q: Lever?
1 year 8 months ago
Is the lever forged or die-cast? The title says "w/ Sunline Forged Lever" but the description says "Economical rotating assembly with die-cast lever." Also, do you sell replacement levers for this unit?
MotoSportExpert

A: This would be a Forged perch and rotator clamp with Die-cast lever.

Q: Handlebar Fitment?

What is max diameter handlebar that this perch can be used on? Will they fit on Pro-Taper Evo bars?

A: The Pro-Taper Evo and all offload handlebars taper down to 7/8" at the control area to allow for standard controls. The Sunline EC-2 Clutch Perch Assembly will fit your EVO bars.

A: No this is not a folding lever. I would recommend taking a look at the Sunline Clutch Perch Assembly With Vince V-1 MDX Lever ( http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/SUNLINE-CLUTCH-PERCH-ASSEMBLY-WITH-VINCE-V1-MDX-LEVER ) as it would be a similar design with a folding lever.

Q: Will the V-1 MDX lever fit this perch?
2 years 4 months ago
i have a V-1 MDX in my OEM perch and i need a new perch. i was wounding if V-1 MDX that fits my OEM perch will fit in the EC-2 clutch Assembly if not do you make a perch that will fit the OEM levers. thanks Phil

A: No. The V-1 MDX Lever you have will not work in the EC-2 Perch. You will likely need to order an OEM replacement perch for your Suzuki RMZ450 in order for that lever to fit properly.

Here is a link to the OEM page with the perch for your bike:
