2 year review
i've had these guys for 2 years now. all the other reviews have been very accurate as far as break in, comfort and durability go. i ride 30% off road and motocross the rest. these boots started off great for both but as of about 3 months ago they have become really mushy in the ankle area when shorting or over-shooting landings while jumping. the ankle area simply has to much flex, especially if you ride on the balls of your feet. i have week ankles from skateboarding so your milage may vary. on a positive note, they have become the most awesome off-roading boot ever. control feel is superb and buckle reliability is spot on. this boot has great value, however i need something with more ankle support for motocross. my buddy has had SG-12's for the same amount of time and the ankle doesn't flex nearly as much. these suckers are pricey, i hope this review helps. cheers all.

Bought these to replace my garne sg12s. I thought the sg12's were more comfortable out of the box. I were size 13.I put shock doctor insoles in both and that makes a huge difference imo. I have high arches and neither offer the support like the insoles do. Buckels dont come loose, but the sg12's seemed a better design. Toe box is much shorter on the sidis than on the sg12's . I had to move my shift lever down one notch for the sidis. Overall they are great and still look new after quite a few hard rides.

Great boots
These boots fit amazing! Just buckle them up and yer ready to ride. I ran through some pretty deep water and I was amazed at how my feet stayed dry. Way better up grade then my AXO Prime boots! Totally worth the money!

Really Worth the Cash
Comfort, Flexable out of the box, style, high tech. Probably best boots I have owned. Sized about a Half Size smaller than US norm. I where an 8 and had to go with 7 1/2.

Comfortable, not durable
I wore the boots for three rides and the plastic began to rip. I called sidi about the warranty and they first said it was from a downward impact. Then decided that the part was not covered under warranty. Never again will I purchase a pair of these boots.

Comfy
Bought these after a friend recommended them. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. They broke in quickly and tuned the fit with an insole insert. Could do with a little less moving parts.

Best Boots
Very happy with these boots. The sizes run true. I have large calfs and these boots with shin guards on are at their limit but they are so nice I don't mind dealing with it.

Perfect and ill come back for seconds
These boots are perfect. They offer loads of protection yet remain flexible and comfortable. I've beat the mess out of mine and they are still holding together. Once this pair bites the dust I will order another pair of Sidis. its amazing the impacts your feet will survive while wearing these boots. dont skimp in the boot department or else you will pay for it later in the hospital. the insides of the boots dry quickly. enduroearth.com

Whats the general rule for boot sizing?

Go by your shoe size, if you run a half size in your shoes, round up to the closest size.

The Sidi Crossfire TA have sewed in soles and the SRS have a replaceable sole. The boots are identical other than that.

How are these boots for water intake while riding in the rain?
MotoSport Staff
Over 4 years ago Location: Portland, OR
They are decent in keeping the water out. I would say if you are riding in rain and rivers and what not some water is bound to get through but with the Cambrelle liner the boot should dry out rather quickly.

Sidi Crossfire TA Boots?
I bought a pair of size 10 black crossfire TA boots last year. Your description states that the parts are all replaceable. Therefore, can I order a circlip for the right inside hinge? I lost the clip this weekend and I am afraid the boot will be damaged if I continue to ride without it.
MotoSport Staff
Over 4 years ago Location: Portland, OR
Unfortunitly we do not stock that circlip and thats not a vary common part to replace so I'm personally not too sure where you could pick one up. I would say pull one of the other clips and take it to a hardware store and see if you can match it up. Other than that you might have to contact SIDI direct.
