Fat with less Weight
" These bars are the BOMB!!! When the box came to my door I thought it was empty. The dimensions are as close to the stock bars as I could find and the feel is awesome. Less vibration, better look, more room for the GPS than with stock. I did have to modify the pad to fit with my ROX riser kit though. "

I like'em
" I've used these bars since they were introduced. They have some flex on G outs, we all know those hurt. If you like some give in your bars these are for you and very hard to bend and if they do it is a freak accident that bent them. I get them on every bike I buy, my sons also and he is a true testiment to durability. "

Renthal fat bars
" Fat bars, if you are not running them why. They are far more durable than 7/8 inch bars. I have tried alot of other bars and always come back to Renthals. The variety of bends and color is great. Handle bars are key to control and rider position. Get these and you will be hooked quality counts! "

great bar
" i trail ride quiet a bit and found these to be great,(xr400) i have gone down and hit a couple trees with them and yet have suffered minor damage, have bent slightly, within 3 mm. but something has to give! my friend bent the stock bars on my DRZ400 and thought of these, but went for the 7/8 bars again to see how they will hold up. great bar and will buy again. AWESOME!!!
" I would recomend renthall fatbars to anybody. I have had a few kinds of handlebars and have always bent them in the races, but with my fatbars I have had the hardests hits I have ever had and they have not even come close to bending. If you are looking for a sturdy pair of bars this is the way to go and for a very affordable prce too. "

How do I know what bend of handlebar I need?
Asked by pflugs21, Dallas, TX
to tell you the truth its all about personal preferance most people just stick with the stock bend on there bike or quad unless theyre use to a certain bend

Do u have 2 buy all new brackets 4 brakes and clutch levers 2?
Asked by supermac, Ft. Rucker, AL
You would have to buy oversized bar mounts to run these bars. As far as all your controls, you can still run them because these bars taper down to a 7/8th bar where all your controls mount.
Answered by Drewski, Portland, OR
will it fit?
Asked by rmrider94
Depending on the bar mount diameter on your bike will determine which bar to purchase. Most manufactures use 7/8" bar mounts. If you are uncertain which to get, I would reference you owners manual or local shop tech and ask which bar is on your bike. Fat Bars are 1 1/8" and will not fit into a bar mount that is 7/8".
Answered by james718
The bar mount diameter is 1 and one eight. Does the bar taper back down to seven eights where the grips go?
Asked by woodsracer250
Yes they do.
Answered by james718
Yep, other wise none of your stock components would work. (perches, grips, throttle tube ect, ect...)
Answered by Drewski, P+RTLAND
whats the difference between each bar?
Asked by KtmAllTheWay, new york city
Each bar has a different height , width, and pull back on them so it's important to pick the bar that is most comfortable for you. Here is a link to what each bend measures out to: http://renthal.com/File/product2d.asp?productid=0&tabtype=5&zone=&biketype=&manufacturer=&model=&bikedate=

Flex vs. Strength
Asked by rmzSMRracing457, Cream Ridge, NJ
The Fat Bar will be stronger than any 7/8" bar for the simple fact they are larger in diameter 1 1/8".
Answered by james718, USA
Yes, it does take more to bend the Fatbars than it does the standard 7/8th bar.
Answered by Drewski, P+RTLAND
bar mounts
Asked by ryanneugebauer1995, longview, tx
Any 1 1/8th mounts will do fine. You can run either the turner's or the Pro tapers. Either one will get the job done.

What bar is close to the Raptor 700 bar size/bend
Asked by raptorscott
The 700 ran it's own bend, and the only ones that are somewhat close would be the RC high or the CR highs. You can also use their bend chart on their website to help you out.
