How good are they when wet? are they slippery after you get them wet?
I tried out the ProTaper pillow tops, and when they got wet they were slick as a bar of soap and resulted in a few backwards slips. And in Vermont, with the mud pits and streams, that is a disaster waiting to happen.

Unfortunately it is hard to say what grips will be best in wet weather. I am not aware of a specific grip designed to work better than others in wet weather riding. In addition what gloves you use can also have an effect on how slippery a grip is. You might try using a glove such as the MSR mud pro that has additional rubber on the fingers and palms to help with grip when conditions get wet and muddy.
