" works as it should makes things a lot cleaner without having to grease the rim. Only disadvantage is that you cannot clean out the air box with brake or contact cleaners as it will break down the foam. They do wear out though and you will know because your air filters will start getting black tacky residue around the rim that will continue to get more tacky. " This is one of the best things you can get for any bike. It fit perfectly on my 2000 YZ 250 and makes filter changes easier! No more greasing!! It seals very well, absolutely no dirt gets around it. The kit comes with cleaning pads to clean your airbox rim with, and a small piece of the material to test the airbox rim before applying the product. It is CRITICAL that the rim be perfectly clean and free of any grease or filter oil for this to stick properly!! The cleaning pad included should be the last thing you use after cleaning with a rag or towels and solvent. It took both solvent and the included cleaning pad to get my airbox clean enough, so I gave this 4 stars for ease of installation. But it was worth the effort! A must-have for quick and easy filter changes. "

this will fit your stock OEM airbox. if you had to modify the airbox to accommodate the K&N air filter than you should be fine.

Not everyone, but close. this is a great idea and saves a lot of time and mess of having to greasing your filters to make sure it has a good seal around the intake rim. with this installed due to the adhesives that are used it is not affected by gas and oils, so the Pro-Seal will not separate from the air box once installed.

This is a soft rubber seal that is installed around the lip where the filter seals against the air box. This is used instead of grease.
