Excellent product over stock
Bought this for my 400ex to go with my pro circuit slip on. Much better header than stock on a honda, but anything is better than stock. A bit more bottom end i feel. Worth the price.

Better know what your doing
i purchased this header to hook it up with an hmf slip on.well the collector on the header is the same diamater pipe as the slip on yoke of the muffler.i ended up cutting the pipe off on the muffler & welded one on that would slide over the collector on the header.really should let customers know the diameter of the collector in the advertisement.

This product is worth it
I have a 08 raptor 350 and I decided to change some stuff on it. If you get a Pro Circuit Exhaust you gotta get the Pro circuit header also. I bought an Air filter also. But the bad part is when you buy the jet it and follow the directions, They're not really right. My quad after the jet kit was installed would not what start what so ever, So we had to take it in and have go trig the Carb. I can defiantly tell the difference in performance and sound

Nice Addition
Finally had this header installed on my Z400 with a slip on pro circuit and was amazed with the results. Not only does it add a deeper tone, the power is much more broader. Felt a lot more in the bottom to mid and top. Also makes my bike look way better. Overall very impressed with it.

Great Pipe
I bought this to replace my 09 kx450 stocker since it dented and creased. It was easy to install and has a mild gain over stock performance.

Is this head pipe a straight through flow or restricted and would i be able to put straight pipe exhaust on it, if so what diameter pipe can i use??
Can I run straight pipe exhaust with out losing any back pressure or horsepower??
MotoSport Staff

This header is is a replacement header from Pro Circuit for thier full system exhaust. It is not designed to work with any other exhaust system. Unless your motor is built to run an open exhaust you will lose horsepower.

Does it come with all the hardware?
MotoSport Staff

The header pipe doesn't necessarily come with any hardware since there isn't much needed to install. It will reuse the stock hardware when attaching to the cylinder.

Hmmm?
ok iv been reading all the q and a on this head pipe i hav an 04 dvx 400 if this pipe is made like the oe head pipe and is the same diameter as the oe pipe how is it supposed to help in power and torque
MotoSport Staff
Over 3 years ago Location: P+RTLAND
It may be the same as far as the OE head pipe diameter is concerned, but the bend of the pipe is a little different so that's where the power gains come from.

I have a LT z250 and i have a yoshi slip on it and this header isnt fitting. what should i do?
MotoSport Staff
Over 3 years ago Location: P+RTLAND
Not too sure what you can do, if you bought the header through us and still have all the original packaging and the exhaust is in brand new condition we can set you up with a return, but that's about it. It's always iffy mixing up exhaust manufactures since they all do things a little differently.

What silencers is it compatable with?
I've got an 03 CRF450R I bought a new Ti4 Pro Circuit slip on for after i blew out my other one, after every race the slip on slides apart from my stock header. So will this T4 header fit to the Ti4 slip on I have and keep a seal under hard racing conditions, or do I need to get a straight up Ti4 header?

I asked procircuit themselves and they said if it fits the stock header it will fit this one
