Pulled airfilter off
I don't like to complain but these filter skins wouldn't stay on my filter when applying them. I made a pit stop and pulled the skin off my air filter while refueling in a race. I didn't know til later that it was sucking sand into my new kx450f . i wasn't pleased

Do you have to oil this too or can you just leave it like it is and put it over you oiled filter?

typically you don't oil the filter skin, because you layer a few on the filter.

I would recommend a pre-filter instead. Check out these we offer on our website: http://www.motosport.com/atv/search/?words=pre%20filter The reason I say run a prefilter is because you can reuse them, these filter skins are a one time use only. Once they get dirty you have to throw them away.
