Are these longer than oem cables?

These are stock replacement cables. Have you checked to see if you can re-route the cable differently to gain more length?

You will need to remove the throttle cables from the bike and take them to a retail store that carries your make of parts. You best first bet would be to see if another model bike has longer cables, but will fit on yours.
