The least expensive version of the most popular and most trusted powersports neck braces in the world. The 2013 Trail brace is the newest version of what used to be called the Leatt Adventure brace. Because of the substantial improvements Leatt made to it, they decided to change the name at the same time. Invented by trauma surgeon Dr. Chris Leatt, the Trail brace has a lower price than other Leatt braces but still has the same safety features. Alternative Load Path Technology (ALPT), wide range of fitting options, light weight, dual hinge system to aid in emergency removal, and engineered fracture and crumple zones are just some of the reasons hundreds of thousands of riders and racers worldwide put the trust in Leatt neck braces.

  • Three-way adjustability for a personalized, comfortable fit.
  • New one piece CoreFlex rear thoracic strut for improved comfort and fit.
  • CoreFlex rear thoracic strut has an engineered fracture point for improved safety.
  • New rear thoracic strut can be set to -5°, 0°, 5°, 10° and 15° for the perfect fit.
  • Chassis made of fiberglass reinforced polyamide resin.
  • Collarbone relief section.
  • Optional clear chest strap features new, improved design.
  • CE-certified as Personal Protective Equipment 89 / 686 / EEC.
  • Weighs only 800 grams (1.8 pounds).

Great neck brace

made out of very good quality material, the brace works great! Takes a little getting used to but defiantly worth the extra protection. With the great prices and customer service on motosport you can't go wrong!

Neck braces are good but not if it hurts to wear

I totally see the benefit of wearing a brace. I don't like riding without one anymore. But this brace rubs on my neck and makes it to uncomfortable to wear. I don't have a really fat neck and I have it fit properly but the material rubs my skin raw so I don't like wearing it.

Saved My Life

Last week, i was riding with friends at a local track. I was in fifth gear when I hit a tabletop that I hit on an ordinary basis. The back end kicked way to the right leaving the take off, landed completely sideways, flipped the other way, I went over and landed on my face at around 55 mph. I woke up sometime later, coughing up blood. Made it to the hospital. Doc told me both lungs are collapsed and bruised, three broken ribs, cracked vertebrae, split pelvis, and a broken tailbone. If not for the neck brace, I'd have a broken neck at the very least, but I'd most likely be dead. Despite the injuries, I was up and walking around the very next morning. I owe it to my neck brace but before I go riding again, I'm going to be investing in a Leatt chest protector. Thanks Leatt!

Which chest protector is this neck brace compatible with? Will it attach with straps or slide beneath only?

This would work perfectly with any of the Leatt Chest Protectors. You would not use the straps for the brace if you were it with a chest protector as it would hook into the chest protector itself and stay in place. Here is a link to all the Leatt Chest Protectors:

Leatt actual bases the sizing on this brace off of Height and Chest Circumference. According to Leatt's sizing chart on this riders 6'1" - 6'3" with a chest circumference of 37.4 - 43.3" would need a L/XL size brace. The braces also come with several different adjustment inserts to custom fit to your exact sizing.

Will this neck brace work for motocoss?

Yes, this brace will work great for MX. Dont take the trail name literally. This is basically the same brace as the previous Adventure brace that stemed from the orignal GPX Club line. This brace has basically all of the same features and only lacks the adjustable stops to raise and lower the front and rear stop tables. It is a great low cost alternative for neck protection compared to the GPX Pro and Race models.
