Amazing.

Got this brace for motocross and all i can say is wow. When i tried it on at the store it felt kinda weird at first but when i put it on with all my other gear and started riding its like it wasn't even there. It isn not hard to put on either, its easy to feel when its in place if you know what i mean. Ive heard about people wearing the atlas braces and crashing and breaking their collar bone because of the design. This brace is very easily adjustable as well and you can break it down into two pieces for easy storage. Padding is also machine washable. Ive crashed a few times with this one on and its very well built and I haven't had one problem. Do yourself a favor and spend the money on this amazing product that could potentially save your life. Another thumbs up for Leatt.

Leatt GPX Race Neck Brace Review

I have used this neck brace for a few months now, along with the Leatt Pro Chest Protector, and really like both pieces of gear! It took a while to adjust and fine tune this neck brace, but it fits very well with the Chest Protector. I like that the 2 together fit like a well crafted piece of armor, crafted by a blacksmith! I feel a sense of a high degree of safety knowing I have this gear on. Very good quality from Leatt!

Pure Genius

I can't say it has saved my life but you can really tell the protection when you do a header. Gives you confidence to keep hucking your meat. Big pain in the butt getting it adjusted to the way you want. Don't get sucked into the need for the chest straps...they dig into your pits anyway and aren't needed. Call in for purchase because the circumference of your neck is what determines your size the best. Body armor will fit with brace but you need to put the base under the armor. Gets tricky putting on your gear but works fine. Within 30 minutes you will get used to the first apparent hindrance with looking down at your front wheel.

The Leatt GPX Neck Brace came in 3 pieces that were easy to put together. It comes with adjustable clamps for the sides depending on your size. I'm 5'2", 135lbs and went with the small/med and it fits great. Comes with everything you need. Haven't had a chance to ride with it yet which is the only reason it got 3/5 for durability and performance but I expect good things!

Leatt GPX Race neck brace

Been considering one of these for a while. Glad I did. Integrates well w/ Leatt body armor. Fits nicely and is comfortable.

A: No. You will need a chest protector designed for a neck brace.

Q: Motion issues?
I take a lot of pictures while still sitting on my bike. I also do a lot of chatting. Will I be able to turn my head much? I know I should be more concerned about my neck, but comfort has got to exist. I have the Leatt GPX in my wishlist for now.

A: Under normal circumstances the helmet does not contact the brace at all and will not restrict movement whatsoever. After a a ride or two you wont even notice it is there.

Q: I want to buy the best Neck Brace for racing. And the best feel with a roost guard. Which would you recommend Leatt, or Alpinestars?

A: I personally wear the Leatt brace, but honestly it will be more of a personal preference and how it fits you specifically. Both braces are very good quality but they do fit differently. You can't go wrong with either and I would recommend trying them on to see which one you prefer. Most chest protectors available now are designed with the braces in mind, but Alpinestars and Leatt both have chest protectors designed to work with their braces for a seamless fit.

Q: How do you know what size to buy?
My son is 11, weighs 93 lbs and rides a CRF150R.....how do we know what size brace to order for him?
Froggie
Over 3 years ago Location: Colorado, USA
A: I think it starts with "What type of riding is he doing?" What level of protection is required? As far as leatt goes, they are very adjustable and have sizing charts at the bottom of the home page for the particular product you may be looking at.

More important than age and motorcycle is weight, height and chest measurements.

Good Luck.

A: I would utilize the sizing chart to verify based on what your son actually measures out to. More than likely though he will be a in size small, based on the provided information.

A: he can make the medium work. it will go very small. Be careful with the packaging and place it on him without the chest straps...he won't want to use these. If it isn't too tall and he can rotate his head freely you are golden.
