I was going back and forth on an aftermarket tank for my 2011 WR250R between the IMS and the Safari. I decided on the IMS for the original appearance and smaller size. The IMS is a direct bolt on and fit perfectly in the stock location with no modifications required. Simply remove the factory tank, swap over the fuel pump, and drop the IMS tank on the bike. A few of the stock tabs on the stock tank also get used on the IMS and IMS includes all the necessary hardware to make the change over simple. The IMS tank is slightly wider and deeper than the factory tank and pushes the factory plastic out from seat about 1/2" on each side. The added width isn't noticeable and maintains a comfortable stance for sliding forward on the tank and standing. The IMS Kit comes complete with all the fasteners you'll need as well as a new O Ring seal for the fuel pump.
