Hard line tach/hour meter
I have one of these Hardline tach/hour meters on all my dirt bikes. The tach is great for carb tuning and an hour meter is really helpful to keep up on maintenance. Never had a problem w/ any of them.

4 Star product.
If you want to keep your thumper running, you have to keep up on maintenance. This item works as described, water proof, small enough to stay out of harms way, and installation is a snap. I bought the mounting bracket to go along with the hour meter. Both are quality products with no defects, no problems so far. It functions as an hour meter, keeping track in 10ths of an hour, and also works as a simple tachometer. I believe the maximum RPM cuts out in the 9000 range. Stop guessing when to change the oil, check the valve clearance, grease the bearings, etc,,,

Perfect
It was great and did its job! It tells my rpms and always has my hours. I made the mistake and had to rip it up and replace it and came back to the truck to find it hanging. But other than that it was great!

Nice product
I installed this on my rider mower. It was very easy to install and it works great. So far it has held up great considering I store the mower outside and while in use the hour meter is subjected to more vibration that it might normally be with some other use. by far the best price of all the other places I shopped. I would recommend this product.

Simple to install. Nice way to keep track of actual run time of your engine instead of guessing. I used an automotive double sided tape. The stuff that came with it didn't stick good enough.

Hour Meter
Good product, when in the RPM mode there is a slight lag but overall it's well worth the money spent on it - installed mine on son's modified race quad '06 Polaris Predator 90 - on the flat steel surface of the left side upper motor mount, slightly tucked out of the way below the fuel tank. Works great for letting us know when to change out the gearbox oil, and check other normal wear and tear parts when racing. will install another one on my Banshee. Instalation took all of 5min and has been in place through the last 17 races, held up to mud, heat & pressure washing..... Ryan

Find a good place to mount it can be tricky but that's not the product's fault. It does very well in sand, dirt, water and then some. It's mounted on my handlebars and has been very helpful.
