A: This is a Heavy Duty Spring for a Yamaha TTR50. It would not fit your Yamaha YZ250. I would recommend taking a look at the Factory Connection Shock Spring for your bike.

Q: How much is recomended for this spring?

I am a 6' 1'' 225lb endure/harescramble rider. I ride a 2008 crf250x. The suspension is obviously way to soft for me I need a heavier spring so I need to know if this would be good for my weight or not.

A: Unfortunately this spring will not work on your 2008 CRF250x. You will need to purchase one of our Factory connection springs specific for your bike. Your bike is actually under sprung for you on the front and the rear. For the rear you would want to purchase a 5.6 spring. For the forks you would need .49 springs to balance it out. When ordering these springs please make sure to profile your bike so you receive the correct ones specific to your bike.
