The G2 Quick Turn Throttle Tube will give your bike a throttle response boost just like it does for top motocross and supercross riders like James Stewart, Grant Langston and Mike Lafferty to name a few.
G2 made it as easy as possible to install the Quick Turn Throttle Tube by requiring no modifications. Simply remove your motorcycles old throttle tube and install the Quick Turn.
G2 constructed the Quick Turn Throttle Tube out of 6061 billet aluminum that provides an extremely durable and lightweight throttle tube.
The center of the Quick Turn Throttle Tube has been knurled for superior contact with the grip.
The cam shape of the Quick Turn has a more aggressive curve to reduce the amount of movement required to open the throttle at max.
The G2 Quick Turn Throttle Tube can be used for all types of racing with the removable end cap. The end cap can be installed for motocross and supercross racing or removed to use hand guards.
I read a lot about he 'quick turn' throttle and thought it sounded like just what i needed for my 250f. so in the off season i ordered it and installed it. it works really well and definately makes your 250f rev to that sweet spot almost instantly. the only warning i would give you is to really consider the conditions you will be riding in as well as your riding ability. i dont know about all of you but during the winter months i tend to remember myself as a much faster rider when im ordering stuff for the next riding season. this happened to me and resulted in me feeling somewhat uneasy the forst time i hit the track with this throttle tube. you must have an excellent feel for the bike and or the clutch bc you will honestly be riding around the track either pinned or with no gas at all...also, i wouldnt recommend this for trail riding or anything other than a track. I took my bike up to our lake cabin where we typically ride logging roads and explore and stuff and i was constantly 'bimping' the throttle and my tire was breaking loose...this thing is not for trails or anywhere you need consistant throttle controll. I ended up irdering the stock cam and using it for trail riding...overall it is an awesome throttle tube-for the right riser and right track....also i crashed during a race on the throttle side and the removeable end cap came off and was lost...i called G2 and the owner sent me 3 replacements free, so props to them for backing their product. 2010 crf250
Definelty worth the money. I was kinda skeptical at first when I bought this for how much they wanted for it but it is way better than the stock one. Has alot better feel and when you let go of the throttle when it is in the wide open position it snaps right back to closed every time.
Didn't make quite the amount of difference i was expecting, but it definitely did help. Overall, it is a solid product. Had a guy land on me, which bent my bars a good 6 inches, but the throttle tube still works just like the day i got it. Comes with a nice end cap.
After two uses I really feel that this product has help with my riding. It makes it feel like the bike has more power but in reality it doesn't it just brings the power to the wheels much faster. It really helps with acceleration after tight corners, which is exactly what this product advertises. It took a few laps to adjust to the new throttle sensitivity but after that it was awesome!!
actually, this company does offer different cams and can be purchased separately and easily swapped out for the cam that comes on this particular throttle tube. the wonderful folks here at motosport should be able to special order them if they are able to get these.
Is the end of the throttle tube open to accept brush bars?
I have a YZ450F and need a new throttle tube but i am installing brush gaurds that mount in the end of the handlebars, thus i was wondering if the end of this tube has a hole to accept the mounting hardware or do i have to, and should i drill out the end
