A good buy
Seat bump works great I bought the cover with the bump the first time for my 07 rmz250 and loved it got a 2013 rmz250 this year and wanted my bump back but still wanted my stock cover bought the bump even though factory effex said it wouldn't work with the stock cover but it does and looks great. just took the staples out from the back to the middle of the seat put the bump on and stretched the cover back over real factory look.

Hard to install
Beware! This is very hard to get a clean looking seat when using the SDG tall seat cover. The package on the bump says it will work but it is very hard to make it look nice. I would say spend the extra money and get the factory effex seat cover. Otherwise the bump is a good way to keep you in your proper rider position when you start getting tired in the middle of a long moto.

Great product
its a product that you never knew you needed it just works. installation was was eazy just make sure you start from the front of the seat to the back so the cover stays tight on the front of the bump. over all it looks factory and works great 5 stars!

Placement
extremely easy to install, looks and works better with a gripper seat cover. it stays in place very well, the foam isn't like other step foams on the market, it is very firm and makes the step very noticeable. it works very well at keeping your center of weight over the pegs where it should be.

No, you will need to get the Factory Effex Bump seat cover to accommodate for the bump. The One Ind cover won't accommodate the bump.

I would say yes factory effex would tell you no but I bought one for my 2013 rmz250 and used my stock seat cover and looks great. if the cover already on when you get the bump just take the staples out from the back up to the middle of the seat both sides then put the bump on then stretch the cover back over. start stapling from the front to the back do both side at the same time don't staple one side all the way at a time.
