Back in the Air
I have put on a few pounds over the years allowing for full compression of the stock spring on my CRF450R. This new spring makes a huge difference, I'm back in the air and my suspension loves it.

Definitely a MUST!!!
Getting the correct suspension for your bike is a MUST!!! I am about 210lbs and I was riding with a stock spring weighted for 135lbs and it made such a difference; It provided a more smooth ride and more comfortable ride. This product is definitely worth the money! The best part is, finding the right rated spring is made really easy with the help of Motosports's customer service!

Good rear spring
Spring fits perfectly in the rear shock and now Im not bottoming out anymore! The yellow spring didnt go with my 03 yz250f color scheme so I powder coated it white.

Good springs
I really was in desperate need for a new spring being a 260 pound rider and these were the way to go. Used a spring rate calculator and it gave me a suggested rate and I chose to go one higher. Be please make them in a variety of colors! That's the only reason I gave it a 4

Spring works great on my 2000 YZ 250. Would be a 5 star rating if it weren't yellow.

Unfortunately your application is going to be very specific. I won't have anything available for that model, but feel free to contact us so we can get you in touch with someone that may be able to help you out with your Vintage KTM. Customers@motosport.com.

This will definitely still fit on your model bike. Since there is a lot to factor when getting the correct spring rate, I suggest calling Factory Connection before ordering so the helpful staff can help you zero in on the spring that is right for you. They will ask you a number of questions that are all important to the process of figuring out the proper spring rate. Factory Connection can be reached at 866-220-1151. Please let us know if there is anything we can help you with as well.

I am a 150lb hare scramble rider on a 2012 CRF450. I'm not sure what spring rate to switch to so I can set the sag for my weight?
Tried to set sag for my weight with the stock spring, and I still need to gain about 25mm. I'm a pretty skinny guy and need a lighter spring. I cant seem to find out what the stock spring rate is, and I'm not sure what to switch too/

Being 150lbs you should be able to get much closer to where you need to be with the sag settings on the stock spring. The best thing to do in this case will be to talk to the helpful staff at Factory Connection. They will ask you a series a questions to help zero in on what spring rate will work out the best for you and give some input on setting up the sag. There are a few more things to take into consideration when selecting the correct spring rate otherwise I would help you with that. Factory Connection's phone number is 866-220-1151. Let us know if you need any help!

Spring rates depend on your riding style as well. I recommend you contact a suspension expert for recommendations. Factory Connections is normally very helpful in making the right spring rate recommendations.

Im 180 what spring rate for 2009 yz 125?

For your weight the stock spring rate should be fine, unless your super fast. By that I Mean big air and blitzing stadium whoops. Check your manual but I believe stock is a 5.4. The factory connection spring does have better feel than stock

You would need to contact Factory Connection at 866-220-1151 for that info. They also need to know what year the bike is and what kind of riding you do to get you the correct spring rate.
