I am a first time racer and i bought this neck brace , for the protection i did have the money to by a leatt brace and thought this would be the closes thing. It is a fair brace it doesnt seem as protective as i like it to be. the sizing is true BE CAREFUL this may not screw into your chest protector
Got this for my daughter. It easily mounted to her chest protector. I had her try on some of the neck rolls first, this collar is by far a better product than the standard childrens neck rolls. If you got a small one riding, get one, you will not regret it.
The EVS Youth R3 Race Collar would likely be a better fit with a chest protector. The strap along the side of the collar allows you to attach the collar to the chest protector to keep the collar in place.
Nope, unfortunately EVS and Leatt don't make any neck braces that small. So if you're looking for the best neck protection in that size/range, I'd have to say that you would be best off with one of these kind of neck collars.
Well, its hard for me to speak so generally about youth sizing because kids can obviously vary so much in size (height, weight and build), however, I'd probably have to say that this race collar is intended to be used by all kids between the ages of 5 to 10 years old.
Definitely, the little ones need all the protection they can get now days... I would also maybe look into the EVS RC EVO neck brace or the Leatt brace if you are looking for something a little more high end.
