Just bought my first pair of EVS knee braces and after my first ride with them I have two broken buckles. Not only after the very first ride did they brake but I had to slide the guards down my leg to get them off. The buckle system is horrible and I was forced to use duct tape on the straps to go out for a second ride. The knee braces were comfortable but bulky towards your thigh area. The price was great but I would not recommend this product to anyone. EVS makes great products but this is not one of them.

I have been riding for 14 years and have always worn knee braces. I am not racing competitively anymore so i could not make my self spend $500+ on a set of knee braces. So i decided i would give these a try…. Not impressed at all they made riding miserable and ended up cutting the back of my caves. Spend the extra money and get a real set of braces.
Poor quality, extremely cheap fasteners. Do not buy these.
I bought these because of the price compared to others. They are a qualitly product and feel comfortable for me sitting and standing but im a tall rider and when i sat on my bike they would move alot. I ended up going with the PODMX300. Have a few rides on them now and they are amazing! I say spend the extra mo ey ecspecially if your around or over 6 foot. In the end i feel shorter riders can benefit from the rs8 braces.
Best quality for the price you pay!
very confortable, light and very good product, always recommended
The RS8 is slim, relatively light, unrestrictive and provides a large area of protection. I have 8 rides on them now and am please with the performance. They stay light in wet conditions (thanks to very little bit of absorbent material).
If your pants are worn out they will catch like any other brace.
These things are comfortable, but the buckles and straps break easy. When you try and squeeze the bike with your knees the metal hinges hit your bone and hurt. My knee can still move side to side inside them as well. I dont like them at all, had them 2 months and broke 3 buckles and had to send them to evs and took 2 weeks. im trying to sell them now
Comfortable, light and functional. Easy to put on and gave me the support and protection I needed. Comfortable enough to wear without brace sleeves although I still wear them to keep them cleaner. My only worry is durability. They show some signs of wear after a few rides but then again this is motor-sports.
Very pleased with the style and comfort. The straps have quick release buckles so after you adjust the straps the quick release is used to put on and remove the brace. unfortunately the buckles are made of plastic and when I was adjusting the straps one of mine popped off. Called EVS they sent me 4 replacement buckles but took 2 months (they said because the brace is new for 2010 had backorders) Went to the track yesterday washed out in a turn at low speed and another one popped off. looks like a quality issue, love the brace hate the buckles.
