What It Is

The Gox Concussion is the latest offering from Eks Brand, and features a form-fitting, pliable, polyurethane frame, an anti-fog mirrored lens and four-layer face foam. Best of all, the newest generation of goggles from Eks Brand features wild new colors and strap designs that differ greatly from the conservative look the company debuted with.

Hits

First of all, we have always loved the way the Eks Brand GOX goggle performs. The frame is absolutely the most pliable of any goggle we've worn, which makes it super comfortable and easy to fit inside just about any helmet. The frame fits an extremely wide range of face and nose shapes and sizes, offering a perfect seal between your face and the four-layer foam. The biggest improvement, in our eyes, is the new look of the Gox Concussion. The original Eks Brand Gox was on the conservative side, aesthetically, with a mostly white strap that had some color hits to match with the frame. The new Concussion design, however, catapults the Gox into the 20th century and to the top of our favorites list.

Misses

We wish the mirrored lens was more scratch resistant, but that can be said about every mirrored lens ever made.

The Verdict

As it stands, the Eks Brand Gox Concussion goggle is comfortable, stylish looking, and great performing, which makes it one of the best goggles we've ever ridden with. Throw in the fact that at $39.95, it is the most affordable premium goggle, and...well, what more is there to say?
