Wow
" Can't believe this clutch has lasted the racing season. Didn't have big expectations for a product that was the cheapest of all available but my expectations have been far exceeded. Only clutch I'll buy from now on. Stiffer springs gave my clutch incredible feel. Change clutch cable out too! Even if you think it still good. You'll be surprised what wonders a new cable with clutch will give your bike a whole new fresh feeling "

Good Bang for Your Buck
" My clutch recently went out. And like everybody I don't have $180 to blow on a stupid clutch. But it was very easy to install. No hassel what so ever. The instuctions say to soak the fibers for 5 to 15 mintues, I did it for about 30 to 45 minutes cause I felt a little more comfortable about it. Went out on the road, didn't rev it up too much, but just enough to break in the clutch. The performance was good. Restored a lot of lost power on my 2003 CR125R. Hopefully they last a while. "

Does the job
" Installed as easy as any other clutch kit. Requires constant adjustment while riding then need to loosen back up when it cools. Springs are much stiffer than stock creating a much harder pull at the lever. If you need a quick, cheap fix... it gets the job done. Personally, I will not buy another one. "

Oh yeah!
" This was my first clutch rebuild on my 2000 RM 125 and its was a breeze. I soaked the fibers for about an hour in the same oil i put in the bike. Took about 2 hours total, that includes teardown, replacing both baskets and rebuilding. Once I got everything put back together I started the bike up and took it for a test ride and wow! The results were amazing! No slipping or catching between gears. I didnt even have to adjust my cable. Thanks Motosport.com, for the great product, very satisfied, will order again! "

Toast in 2.25 rides
" Have not torn bike apart to determine exactly what failed. Guessing that the frictions wore out at an extremely fast rate. Had to adjust clutch almost constantly until no more adjustment available and slip city............ Did everything correct as far as i know. Not my first clutch to replace, not that complex. soaked disks for 24 hours prior replaced metals and frictions, new springs. mic'd the pressure plate, basket all looks good. Clutch literally wore out in less than 6 hours of moderate ride time. must use cardboard for friction materials. Very Disapointed. "

" Bought 4 my crf 250 and brothers kx 85. We both raced a whole year on these clutches. The best clutch we ever bolted to on our bikes!!! The biggest thing is make sure you soak these fibers for 24 hours instead of what they say on the directions. We had good luck and love these clutches. "

" This clutch is junk!! DO NOT BUY IT! I bought this because Driven usually makes awesome products for a good price. I have installed many clutches on many different machines. Can't beat it for the $$$
" You really can't beat it for the money...in a pinch and on a budget? This is your clutch kit. It will last a good amount of time with "normal" MX use....but if you are agressive/abusive on clutches, and like to feather the clutch alot, it will probably only last a season. Keep your oil fresh and it should extend the life.... "

So far so good.
" Rode this guy for around for four hours so far and seems to be holding pretty well. The only recommendation I might have is to substitute some or all of the heavy duty springs for the stock springs. They made the clutch lever feel too easy to pull when riding technical trail. I switched out half the springs for stock and they feel pretty good. You can't beat the price but you can visibly see the difference in craftsmanship between the stock and this cheaper version. I still highly recommend it for the price. "

Good 2 Go
" The clutch is no new technological item added to a machine. Its function and construction has remained very basic. However, I was hesitant to try such a cheap clutch, but I found it hard to believe that a more expensive one (double price) could be much better. I am very pleased to say that this clutch is great. Ran 4 hard weekends in a row and it performed perfectly, I changed my oil and noticed no discoloration due to excessive wear. I recommend this product to everyone! I've heard that i should pre-soak my frictions and steels in oil is this true and what kind of oil should i use
Asked by Warriorguy350, Swanton,md
Yes, your going to want to soak the plates in oil. Normally you would just use the same oil you plan on putting back into your bike. Check you manual for oil recommendations.

These are actually a really nice clutch kit, and for the price you can't beat it. Unfortunately these kits do not include the clutch cover gasket, those are sold separately.
