for the older YZ250F this is a must have, starting a hot 4stroke have never been easier with this. It help with not using your throttle and you don't have to try to remember to push the hot start button in after you start your bike.

way better idea then the stock left side hot start. i replaced stock levers with ASV levers and ordered it with no hot start and ordered this at same time. works great with ASV 2 stroke/non-hot start levers and makes it so you can't twist the gas while using hot start! you can keep your hand on the clutch and the bike in 1st gear for fast restarts after crash!

It works but ...
It works pretty much as described though it seems to be a little slow on returning to it's resting position. Having said this, I would rather spend my money elsewhere. I preferred the old mounting position and actually found it easier to use on the l throttle side.

Makes starting the WR a breeze
I purchased this item after stalling the bike on steep hills and trying to use the "Hot Start" plunger while in gear, clutch in, and trying to push the plunger in with my throttle hand without the bike dying again. This thing makes kickstarting in gear so easy just push kick release and it'll take 10 mins to install.
