This is the second set of Pro Bends I have purchased. Easily the most comfortable and best protection on the market. I like the option for the triple clamp mount. Installing them this way makes them really strong and keeps your bars from bending in a bad crash. If you do purchase the triple clamp mount you will more than likely need longer bolts. The kit does not come with the longer bolts needed.
The best hand guards I've ever used and they are a must have for hare scrambles and single track. Ive only bent these hand guards once on the pavement washing the bike after a super muddy race(the bike weighed over 40 pounds more than regular) But thats my fault not Cycras.
overall great product
I've had these before, but decided to try something else last time around. Now I'm back to the Cycras and will stick with them. IMHO, they are the best fit, best looking, and strongest on the market!!!!
That really depends on what handlebars you are running on your 2000 Yamaha YZ250. If you still have the stock OEM 7/8" size handlebars you would want to go with either the U-Clamp for standard 7/8" bars or the Solution mount 7/8".
These would be a great choice for hand guards for any bike really. You will just want to make sure you select the correct mount for the handlebars you are running on your bike. I would recommend giving us a call at 888-676-8853 and we can help you out more if your not sure which mount system you need.
For your 2005 CRF250x, you would want the 1 1/8" solution mount to work with the Fat Bars. The other option that will work regardless of which bars you are running are the triple clamp mounts. Your CRF will require the side mount type. These allow a little extra space in the center of the handle bars as they do not clamp directly to the handlebar but instead mount to the upper triple clamp pinch bolts. Both will work great for mounting these guards to your bike with the Renthal Fatbars.
There will be a lot of personal opinion involved with this depending who you ask. However, If you are looking for a full wrap style hand guard, it is very hard to go wrong with the Cycra Pro Bend's. These are one of the best selling hand guards as they perform great and look nice also. The mounting will depend on what handlebars you have whether they are stock or if you have switched to oversize. There is also triple clamp mounting that you can use also if you don't want the guards mounted to your handlebars. For your CRF250L you would want the front triple mount clamp if you decide to go with that option.
