" This mount kit does not fit my 2008 YZ250f with stock ProTaper handlebars. Had to order the $35 U-clamp mount in order for the guard to not interfere with my throttle. So, if your bike is like mine, expect to spend $150 opposed to the $115 for the "Universal" kit. If you really want protection for your hands, these are a great idea. I would suggest to order the kit without mounts, see how they fit, then order the mounts separately. I am somewhat disappointed as I expected this kit to work. "

" great product. required some minor jerry-rigging on my Yam 2007 WR450. The right front brake cable sticks out and prevents the mount from attaching properly. So, I bought a 3in bolt and used washers to space the bar away from the mount bracket. Go ahead and dump your bike with no problem! "

" I have always used the less expensive hand guards so I wanted to try the Cyrca brand. I wish I would have bought this type sooner! The fit is flawless, no having to move them around or shimming to try and make the cables work. Fit and finish is really good! " 2007 wr450, very nice finish, parts machined very, very well and they look great. They seem solid as a rock but I've yet to "test" them yet. The only thing for some riders is that you may have to angle your brake lever a bit so the lines clear the bar. Not nearly enough to make me not want to buy them again. I had the Acerbis rally pro before, and they didn't seem nearly as sturdy. "

CRM mount will not fit the CRF450X with High bars
" The Cycra Pro Bend CRM Racer pack is a good fit for the standard Renthal bar on the Honda 450X. However with my RC High Renthal Bar, and the Renhal +5mm riser, the CRM mount brings the Cycra Aluminum bar in contact with the clucth cable and the front brake line. For the 450X, the U Clamp or the side triple clamp are the way to go for higher bars. "

So if you switched to a set of oversized bars and you just need to get the matching oversized handguard mounts, then you can actually just purchase a new set of 1-1/8 mounts/clamps for those Cycra handguards. will these work with an aftermarket throttle tube that covers the end of the bar?

Sometime after market throttle tubes have end plugs that you can pop out and some don't. So if you don't have the end caps you will have to drill out the end of the throttle tube to get these to work. If you are running a throttle tube with a bearing in it these hand guards will not work.

The center reach mount will not work with the Fasst Flexx bars. If you are going to be using the handguards on a dirt bike you can run the front triple or side triple mount depending on which style of triple clamp you have. If you are looking for something for an ATV you could run the new Acerbis Uniko ATV handguards or the Fastway fit system. We do not carry either of those handguards at this time.

the center reach has a different bend in the aluminum that allows the cables to route and clear the handlebars better. The U-mount kit doesn't not have this special bend.

I actually have the Pro Taper Contours with these Center Reach Cycra Hand guards and the bar end inserts fit just fine. This kit includes a couple different rubber sleeves that can be used in the quill type insert to make up room for different ID handlebars. You shouldn't have any issues mounting these on the EVO bar.

i have the twin wall bars and fit great but u might have to reverse the center bracets around depends on where ur handle bars mounts are at I have a '03 RM250 and they dont reach to the center like they say but they still fit great
