Overall
Better than average
good quality brush guards and recommend them if that is what you are looking for. They have plastic mouting perches and spring loaded breakaway so if you tip the bike over the guards flex and give, not bend and break. They fit the crf450x okay. Had to do some fairly heavy filing to the front half of the aluminum clamp on the right side to clear the brake fluid reservoir. Ive come to expect some level of custom-fitting of this kind of aftermarket stuff.

These hand guards keep roost and all the desert foliage off your hands while maintaining all the control of no hand guards at all! These hand guards won't protect against the full on "auger in" But, on my first weekend in the desert, I had two good tipovers in the snow, and one steep hillclimb loop out and they survived with flying colors! I love em.
