My Birthday Present to myself
I wanted one of these the first time I saw it. Seems like every time I want to check my sag there is no one around the help and it seemed like this was the solution. I thought it was overpriced so I waiting until my birthday to treat myself. Now, I've decided it's not overpriced. I can quickly and easily check the sag on my bike each week. And, having the sag set correctly makes a huge difference in ride quality.

Very easy and accurate
use it once to learn... and then never guess at your sag again. Keep it with your tools at the track so you can get the basis of all your suspension changes right. Clicks don't matter if sag is wrong. The case it came with is great. very easy to use.

Easty to use
This is a great product so you can set your sag. Rarely (in my case anyway) do I have two others standing around to help me with sag settings. This makes it easy.

Easy to use
The solo sag scale is easy to use, straight forward. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars is because I think it is a little pricey. Other than that it is great. Took me about 20 minutes to adjust the sag.

What It Is

The guys at ASV Inventions are always racking their brains, trying to make life simpler for the dirt bike crowd, and the Solo Sag Scale is yet another one of those products that have us mumbling to ourselves, "Why didn't I think of that?" Simply put, the Solo Sag Scale is a tool that you can use to properly set the rear shock sag of your dirt bike with, all by yourself.

Hits

Traditionally, setting your rear shock sag requires the assistance of a friend, preferably one who is good with math. Specialized sag scales eliminate the need to subtract the compressed measurement from the fully extended measurement, but they still require a second person to conduct the measurements while you sit atop your scooter. The ASV Solo Sag Scale makes it possible to set your shock sag, all by yourself, in three easy steps: 1. With your bike on a stand, slide the bottom of the Sag Scale into the bike's rear axle, then tighten the clamp at the top of the scale onto your bike's rear fender. 2. Remove the bike from the stand, sit on it, and after bouncing up and down a few times and allowing the shock to settle, reach back and slide the inner measurement scale down as far as it will go. 3. Put the bike back on the stand, read the Sag Scale's sag measurement, and adjust your rear shock accordingly.

Misses

At $125, the Solo Sag Scale is not a cheap investment, but it is a very creative and smart tool that makes an absolutely necessary set-up chore a relative breeze.

The Verdict

At TransWorld Motocross we swap bikes constantly between test riders and make sure to reset the rider sag with each change to ensure proper suspension function. For guys like us, the ASV Solo Sag Scale is an absolute must at the track.
