Alpinestars A-8 Protection Vest

This chest protector is very comfortable and lightweight. It is very comfortable to handle and drive.

I bought the A-8 for the rib protection. This unit does a much better job of covering the ribs than most. When I first put it on the fit was pretty weird but it has plenty of adjustment to make it fit just right.

ordered med xl and my opinion was too small.fit was very tite..i am 6'1 190lbs...only covered to above my belly button...also had a broken tab new out of box on the front clip ...sent back next day...ordered a 2 x 4x....fit was alot better but shoulder cups are located far towards back and top of shoulder..not towards front top of shoulder..front of plastic dug into my pecks and has sharp edges..also the shoulder cups have sharp pointy edges that would stick my back..very bottom of back protector has like a tail that sticks away from my your back about 1'' 1 1/2...it does not follow the contour of your back properly.i have a alpinestars bns that is supposed to fit perfectly with this chest protector..lol..my fox airframe fits better..no bs...this does have a ton of adjustment and it can be moved every which way but i could not get it to fit right....also trying to adjust it is like pulling teeth from a 2 year old kid..terrible...but does have a lot of it...looks are awesome!!!! side latteral guards are sweet...i think that this would be a very hott chest protector ...no doubt about it that they put time and effort into this thing but will look into another... O almost forgot to say.....the second one i received was broke also..the bns tab loop the holds the bns down broke while walking around my living room..just received it today at .245pm and was already back in the box by 630pm to ship back to motosport... this is at no fault to motosport ..motosport payed for shipping back to them on both protectors..i use none other than motosport for all my off road needs..the best!!!
