Do not purchase for KX450F
" If you own a KX450F, don't bother using this one. It's about half the thickness of stock and lasted a mere 4 hrs on the bike. I've got 15 hours on the bike and already gone through the stocker (11 hrs) and the Acerbis replacement (4 hrs). I have a TM Desingn slider on the way. We'll see if that lasts any longer. "

OEM Quality
" OEM fitment and quality. If it's not better! Went right on the swingarm, which was still on the bike, so that is a plus! Does exactly what it says it does, provides a nice rub surface for your chain. "

Fits 02 - 04, not 05 - up as described
" I bought this for my '05. I had a spare from my '03, but it didn't fit quite right so I ordered this. The label on the product says it's for 02 - 04. "

Poor Fit
" Plain and simple - it doesn't fit. Since my old one wore through, I had to make do. The stock cup washer and allen head screw wouldn't fit the cut outs, I swapped out to a flat washer and flat phillips head screws so my chain wouldn't drag on the hardware - lost two of the four on my first ride. After that I busted out the utility knife and cut the holes out so the stock cup washer and screw would fit, but it was a pain to do it and the washers aren't sitting on a lot of meat. Don't waste your money. "

***An acceptable OEM Replacement***
" I bought one of these ACERBIS rub plates for my CR250 and it fit ok but wasn't near the quality of OEM. There was still some visible flash still present from the injection molding process and IMO should have been finished a little better. I would recommend it though as the stock rub plates are nearly $40 dollars. "

good product
" good product, good durability, but one of the screw holes didn't line up perfectly and had to be altered slightly. good otherwise "
Does this come with the mounting hardware?
Asked by AnthonyM
No hardware is included.

How come 2007 RMZ 450 isnt listed?
Asked by lucasx2, Casa Grande, AZ
It's not listed as fitting because Acerbis does not offer a chain rub plate for that bike.
