Total fiasco
" If you have a 2011 or 2012 Honda CRF250R avoid Acerbis at all costs. They do not even produce right side number plates that work properly. They have side panels that fit, but have no vent holes (those things that allow your airbox to BREATHE!) for the 2011 and 2012 models, or they have 2010 side panels that have the OEM vent holes but require you to chop them up with a razor knife to make them fit around the muffler bracket that was relocated in 2011. Acerbis SAYS the 2010 plastic will fit just fine. Only after you waste 2 days emailing and calling them do they admit "Oh yeah, that brand new plastic that you just spent a bunch of money on...It won't fit unless you chop it up with a razor knife." Oh, and the color doesn't come close to matching either. "

" the oem plastics shrouds are 80$ a piece so i decided to go with my go to plastics company acerbis. wow i was disappointed. there were seams in the plastics from the mold that shown through to the front. yes they did line up and matched oem shape which is why they got a fair rating. but the worst part is that the color was no where close. more like the old honda orange rather than the red. wasnt expecting it at all. i dont know if this was just a special case or not im saying honda riders i wouldnt buy this "

" I replaced the plastic on a 09 kxf 450 and most of it fit really well. The right side number plate had issues with the lip that tucks between the subframe and rear fender. I had to trim about a 1/4 inch off that lip to make it fit right. Other than that I had no problems. "

Not the quality i expected
" After spending $117 so some plastic, i expected better items that what i received. The front fender is bent down and when i cased a jump, the tire actually grabbed it and broke it. The shrouds needed bent into place but once there, they looked great. The rear fender was a perfect fit as well as the fork guards. The only problem was that front fender and these plastics scratched like crazy. After the first ride i would see marks all over the bike. If your selling your bike and just need it to look good, this would be a great product. Otherwise, find something better. "

" i would not reccomend this to a friend because i just recieved my plastics today and of course i can never get what a want or what the picture shows i get everything blue. i wanted what was in the picture! which means blue everything except side number plated! which should be white but instead you guys gave me blue. its just frustrating when you cant ever get what you want or what is in the pitcure. " Most of the mounting holes required modification with a dremel so the factory shims could be reinstalled (keeps plastic from cracking). The plastic that covers the exhaust doesn't come with heat shielding like oem so you'll need to get some. "

" The factory plastic for a KX 65 has several metal grommets molded in the plastic. The metal grommets help with torque retention. The Acerbis kit did not have the molded in grommets. NO you can't take them out of the factory pieces. The Plastic was full of sink marks and pretty warped. It did fit and work. Was much cheaper than factory and available in other colors. Really no problems I think I got my money's worth. But Acerbis could make the product better. "

" The plastic is of better than stock quality. There are multiple flanges that need to be cut, ground and sanded to "fit". After much refitting and reinstalling, the gaps are huge in some places and the right side plastic flat out does not line up with the attachment points. I have had fantastic experience with Acerbis in the past. I'm only bummed because MotoSport showed a "Fits this ride" to my 2007 DRZ400S and while it may be close in some areas, I feel I just wasted $130. "
