HOLD up well in the rocks on my 450
The rocks used to tear up my D404 rear tire. Tread wore out pretty quickly and pieces broke off the knobs. The MX71 is a predictable tire. It doesn't hook up awesome in the softer stuff, but it stays together in the really rocky stuff. Went to a trail in Southern Utah with a mix of terrain (river rocks, slick rock, sand, etc...) The ride went great thanks to this tire.

Ever since michilin discontinued the strosscross hp4 I have been in search for a tire that held up in the rocky hard terrain I ride in that hooks up well and lasts a decent amount of time after many tires I think I have found one that will work it has done a great job so far mecand a buddy have been riding them and we are about 7 rides on it so far and it has very little wear. Worth the money
this tire was one of the best tires i have ever ridden and am going to buy another one this week . The tire hooked up in every condition and could really push the limits. I would recommend this to any one riding a yamaha ; the only thing i didnt like was the tire wore out after 4-5 rides but still worth the money .
