Good Protection
Good pair of knee guards. Adjustable elastic straps for comfort and tight fit. I bought a pair of leg sleeves that you wear under them for a more comfortable fit.

Not Bad Product
When i first tried these on they were a little big im 17 years old and they would fit great for Adults. They fit me but are a little loose. the strap that goes around the back of your knee can sometimes get annoying when riding however they do protect your knees and shins i have come off my bike and the foot peg has spiked into my shin these knee guards protected me and i didnt feel a thing. Overall not too bad product.

Not for hyperextension protection
im 15 yr old 5'11'' 145lbs. these did not fit very well at all. they are better suited for a much bigger person than i. these knee guards also would not do for hyperextension protection. the straps are too stretchy. if your knee tried to hyperextend, i dont believe these knee guards would stop it. also, they provide more shin protection than knee protection. i have motocross boots. i dont need shin protection! the quality seemed reasonable for the price, and for a larger person than i looking for a knee guard, these would work fine.

Not Perfected
look sharp and may be fine for anyone who doesn't need to kneel next to their bike. They were uncomfortable when kneeling, but more importantly, the hinge pins lost their e clip from the kneeling pressure and thus on a multi-day dual sport ride I was forced to use nylon ties to hold the hinges together. Later, being an amateur machinist and stupidly stubborn, I made new aluminum pins held together with a washer and tiny screw which worked well. I informed the manufacturer, but they didn't seem too interested.

Could this break a femur.?
I am looking at getting some knee/shin guards and not braces because of possible femur breakings. Do you think this guard could break a femur? Thanks for any help.

Either way you look at it whether your running knee guards, or knee braces you leaving your femur open to be broke no matter what. It's just a matter of how hard your hit and where the impact was mainly directed. Bottom line, your more likely to brake your femur with knee guards than you are with knee braces but it all depends on the crash to be honest.
