A good reason to buy one
I bought this to do desert riding in rocky and sandy soil. I am happy with the fit and it deflects the rocks good other then your shoulders. It is comfortable and breaths good. All in all it was what i was looking for.

Not overly impressed
I ordered this at the beginning of the season, kept it as a race only chest protector. I finally just got around to racing last saturday, it broke after my 2nd moto. I didn't crash. It makes sense now when I see Blake Baggetts rear part of the protector flapping in the wind, the ratchet buckle system failed. I think roost must of broke the buckle off the holeshot. Upsetting because the thing fits, feels, and looks awesome. I don't think you can replace the buckle so now I'm out a chest protector. Either Thor needs to make replacement buckles or reverse the ratchet system connection to the rear of the protector so roost won't destroy the buckle (or to the inside of the front of the protector)...I would recommend to others if the buckle ratchet was in a better location or of better quality. I atleast need the equipment to last me one season, not just one and a half moto's.

Great looking chest protector but is way too small for average sized adults. I'm 5'10" and 190 and was way too tight. Had to return... bummer.

Is the black solid black?
On the picture,the black one looks as if the plastic is black but the fabric under is a blue ish color. Im just wondering if the black one is solid black.

This will be all black. The lighting in the picture does make it seem blue, but will definitely be all black in color.

Thor states that is fits most riders from 120-200 lbs so it will be cutting it pretty close if you 200 plus.

my leatt didnt fit well with the sentinel. u would have to trim it a little. the hrp chest protector is the one to get to fit your neck brace
