Thank God I have them!
Being a clumsy new rider, I decided to get these after I smashed up my shins and twisted my ankle. Not to make myself sound like the worst rider EVER but I've crashed a couple times now and have not injured any area protected by my boots. The main reason I'd recommend them though is todays accident. Made a stupid mistake and the bike took off on me. I let go and my foot caught the back tire and sucked my leg all the way back. My whole leg was caught between the frame and the tire. It got totally stuck! My friends were all freaking out because it looked horribly painful but guess what! Didn't feel a thing. I most DEFINITELY would have broken my ankle and surely would have needed LOTS of stitches on my right shin. Didn't feel a thing. I was SOOOOO happy to have them. And by the way fairly comfortable, feet don't get wet as they're rubber at the bottom, easy on and off.... Love them! and so does my right leg! Thought sure the buckles would be busted but they're not even really scuffed!

Great Product
They fit great and are easy to adjust. My son has worn them twice and I have no complaints.
