I could make one improvment
everything is great with this set up, but if I could change one thing id make the holes in the mount threaded like the Zeta so you could take the cover off and put it on without having to take the wheel off and remove it as one piece. I have two bikes with these guards and it would be nice to be able to interchange them or remove them easy. Other than that its great. I also have the zeta, which the mounting bracket is better because its threaded, but the cover is just a thin piece of plastic and no protection for the caliper.

Didn't work on arrival
Received first spider with missing part. The guys at Motosport were awesome with a replacement. It arrived within days. However, the replacement was faulty and has non-working part. It does'nt turn/rotate. So now I have two kits, one disc cover and can't use any of it because it does not work.

No nuts...
I have a 07 CRF250R and the bracket replaces the spacer on the axle. The countersunk screws are provided to go from the bracket side of the mount through the cover but there is nothing to attach it to. You need to purchase lock nuts to use on the outside of the disc cover. It ends up looking kinda cheesy since you see the nuts instead of a smooth head fastener.

Using this on a CRF450X w/ Stock wheels, Now w/ DNA wheels?
Hi, I had this mounted with my stock wheels and it worked fine. I just bought a set of DNA wheels and the front has a spacer/sleeve built into the hub with a spacer that slides over the extended sleeve on the rotor side. This sleeve which the axle bolt fits into is offset so that it sticks out only on the rotor side, this sleeve seems to be mounted in the DNA hubs. Is there a mounting kit that doesn't have the spacer built into it for this new wheel or am I suppose to press out this spacer which goes through the complete hub with an added spacer on the opposite side of the hub. Thanks for any help, Kyle

Unfortunately this disc guard mount is only designed to work with stock wheels and wheels that accept the stock spacer. Acerbis does not offer a set up to work with aftermarket spacers. To work with the DNA wheel on your CRf450x you will need to modify the bracket and fit it with their wheel spacer if you would like to utilize this disc guard.
