if u want to race this is a good chest protector, but if u want to ride woods and trails i would rather get the other kind of chest protector.

It's more of a personal preference if it's enough protection. You can wear an under armor along with this but it might get to be a little bulky..

According to Thor, this protector will fit most adults weighing 120lbs-200lbs. They don't offer a height fit chart, only a weight. I hope that helps.

Yes it will fit great i got mine when i was 5'4 110 pounds and it fit really good. it will fit anyone over 5'0 and 100 ponds

the shoulder protection is nice its a little thin but it still gets the job done great

Nope they are not adjustable. Mainly just around the waist.

You could but it probably wont be that comfortable. The Sentinel was designed to go over the jersey.

This only comes in one size, and it fits most riders 150-200lbs.

youre border line large to XL all depends on preference. do you like a snug fit? then large like a loose fit? then XL

It should work out for you just fine, the fitments on this goes up to 200 pounds so it should be wide enough in the shoulders for you. It always helps to try one on at a local shop if possible.

i am 5'10" and weigh 180lbs. I have really wide shoulders and the Sentinel fits perfect!!

I don't think that way would be too comfortable. I would not suggest do so.

EVS claims the RC Evolution neck brace will fit most chest protectors. but they don't have a list of which ones they do.

You are under the weight requirement that Thor states as fitting. Thor says this fits adults from 120-200 lbs.

It fits so nice with a leatt i forgot about the leatt in my first review. It makes it so nice you dont even have to wear the strap with the leatt with one of these. I just put the two sides on the leatt under the guard and then slide my head threw then get the front piece and slide the front under the guard the clamp the leatt to then your ready to go!

This is a little lighter and has less protection than a standard chest protector. Fitting it with the Leatt should be fine. Villopoto runs this protector with his leatt just fine.

All you need to do is put the chest protector on first, and don't clip the clips yet. Then start with the Leatt from the back support first. Once you get the back in spot lift the Sentinel over the front piece on brace, then line everything up until it's comfortable. You might need two people at first to get the hang of it, but they both fit together like a glove. A lot of people run this combination with no modifications done to their Sentinel.

Thor might be able to supply some new buckles but for repairing them it depends whats wrong with them.

Thor can replace the buckles. Just call them up. I wore mine for the first time and got bucked over the bars and ended up shattering a buckle =/ and i was dissappointed. until i called thor and they said they would ship it out the day i called.. two days later.. two buckles arrived.. just have to rivet them back on. simple fix.

This can be worn under a jersey. I don't think that it was designed for that though.

It's a pretty tight fit and you'll probably have to cut out some of the material on the shoulder pads of the chest protector to have it fit properly.

Yes, we do stock the back straps. Use the search engine at the top left of your screen and search "back Strap" it should pull right up.

This might be too big for you. You will have to search for a youth chest protector for a proper fit.

Your a little bit under the limit, but it should be alright for you. I would go with an adult size.

go with the youth im 5''7 and 130 and i have to tighten it all the way for it to fit perfectly

The limit on this does end at 200, you should be alright though. You can adjust this protector quite a bit.

Should be ok I am 210 and 6'4". It fit around fine it was just way to short for me.

this protector is made of plastic on the outer shell and a softer / fabric inner.

plastic and under softer foam in the front the back is removable so plastic with foam or a medium thick rubber srap

I had trouble...i was 180 and it was super tight..if u have a gut..i dought it would fit

They fit like a glove. It take a couple rides to get used to it, but you should be able to adjust pretty quickly.
