Good Choice
This thing works just like a bulky plastic "over the jersey" chest protector with out the hassel of wearing one. You will never know it's there but still be protected from the rocks that you may encounter on the track or trail!

Is a good product for underwear protection ONLY
It is good complement for a chest protector if you want to feel light and add a bit more protection to the chest.. Wont replace a real chest protector that you have to wear outside your jersey.

Not good
Doesnt do much protecting. Its spongy material. Only thing good about it is that it keeps u cool

The Thor Quadurant Deflector is a so so product. It is great for hot days and if you are riding by yourself. when rocks and big clunks of dirt come at you it doesnt help to much. i went over the bars the other day and got a brusied lung its just not alot to rely on save ur money

Ok buy. Isnt what i expected. Cheesy foam padding. i would recommend the fox titan protector. This thor does the job but its cheesy and not the best.

Does it's job well
Does it's job well. It works great against roost, not sure how good it would work if you went over the bars though. Before, I was change my line up or slow down if I was getting roosted. Now, I don't even feel it and I can charge straight through it. I would defiantly buy this again, and I would much rather wear this than one of those huge plastic things that restrict your movement.

NICE
Kinda soft but definately good for hot days when needing to block roost but would not help in crash at all, other than that good product

Does this have any back protection, and does it work with the leatt?

Yes this works with the leatt, the back has very little protection.

Our boys participate in bmx racing ... does this item protect the spleen? Will it offer protection from other impact injuries?

This protector is not designed to protect the upper body from impact. This is designed to only protect the body from roost (dirt flying off the rear tire of another bike). This is only made up of foam, and not hard plastic. I would look at chest protectors for upper body impact protection.

Back protection?
I was wondering if there was back protection? and if it makes you sweat more than usual?

this is considered a roost deflector. the foam padding is only on the front of this item. This fits sung like a t-shirt. I wouldn't think you would get any warmer than wearing a typical hard plastic chest protector.

These fit snug like a t-shirt, so a sm/md will fit you just fine.

these are one-size fits all. They are constructed with stretch-type material and made to fit tight.
