Good for the Cold
These are well designed and well constructed gloves. They're comfortable, move well, and oh boy will they keep your hands warm. The cuff is just long enough to prevent drafts up the sleeve, but not so long (like gauntlets) to make the glove-jacket interface a problem or uncomfortable. They're not just for motorcycling - they're just as good for wearing in town. For the sake of feel of the controls they do not have a double layer on the palms and underside of the fingers, but if they did they'd make excellent cold weather work gloves. Do not believe the ad copy that they're uninsulated on the they underside - they are insulated all over.
